Job Summary:

As a Mid-Weight Graphic Designer at AutogenAI, you will play a central role in shaping how a category-defining AI company communicates visually.

AutogenAI operates in complex, high-credibility environments. Our platform supports global organisations in producing business-critical submissions worth millions in contract value. The way we present ourselves — with clarity, precision, and consistency — directly reflects the quality and seriousness of our technology.

This role is about bringing that level of rigour to everything we design.

You’ll apply and evolve our visual identity across a wide range of touchpoints, from executive-level presentations and strategic sales materials to digital campaigns, event collateral, and customer communications. Your work will help ensure that every visual expression of AutogenAI reflects a company defining a new category of enterprise software.

This is not a role focused on constant reinvention or unconstrained creative freedom. It is a role for a designer who believes great design comes from clarity, discipline, and strong systems thinking – someone who can apply an established brand with consistency, judgement, and craft.

You will be our primary in-house designer, working closely with marketing, leadership, product, and commercial teams globally. As such, you’ll operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy, ensuring design output across the company meets a consistently high standard.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Brand Guardianship: Act as the steward of the AutogenAI visual identity, ensuring consistency across all internal and external materials. You’ll apply our established brand system across formats and channels, maintaining clarity, coherence, and quality at all times.
  • End-to-End Design Ownership: Take full ownership of design deliverables from brief through to final execution. You’ll ensure the design approach supports the purpose and context of each asset, not just its visual appearance. This includes:
    • Sales and executive presentations
    • Marketing collateral and digital campaigns
    • Event materials and brand activations
    • Social media and digital assets
    • Customer communications and internal materials
  • Design Thinking and Concept Development: Approach each brief thoughtfully and deliberately. You’ll explore multiple routes before arriving at the most effective solution, using typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition to communicate clearly and effectively. You understand that strong design often comes from restraint, using structure and clarity rather than relying on decoration.
  • Autonomous Workflow Management: As a solo designer, you’ll manage your own workflow, timelines, and priorities. You’ll operate independently while collaborating closely with stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and leadership. You’ll be trusted to deliver consistently high-quality work without requiring constant oversight.
  • Asset Organisation and Brand Infrastructure: Maintain organised design systems, templates, and master files to ensure efficiency, scalability, and consistency as the company grows.
  • Collaboration and External Partner Support: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and support coordination with external agencies or specialists when required, ensuring all design output aligns with AutogenAI’s brand standards.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • You Are a Design Thinker: You believe great design starts with thinking. You explore multiple approaches before committing to a solution and use typography, hierarchy, and structure to guide your work. You’re comfortable working within defined brand guardrails and understand how to apply them intelligently across different contexts. You know when subtle creative nuance adds value – and when clarity and consistency matter more.
  • You Have Exceptional Craft and Design Judgement: You care deeply about detail, composition, and execution. You understand editorial and layout design and know how to create balance, clarity, and visual hierarchy, even when working with complex or minimal content. Your work reflects precision, intention, and professionalism.
  • You Are Process-Driven and Intentional: You approach design methodically, moving clearly from brief to exploration to execution. You can articulate your thinking and demonstrate how your work solves communication problems, not just aesthetic ones. You have experience applying brand systems across multiple touchpoints and formats.
  • You Are Autonomous and Self-Directed: You’re comfortable operating independently and take ownership of your work. You manage your time effectively, prioritise well, and maintain high standards without needing constant direction. You’re motivated by responsibility and take pride in delivering excellent work consistently.
  • You Communicate Clearly and Collaborate Effectively: You can interpret briefs, ask thoughtful questions, and present your work clearly. You understand how to balance creative integrity with business needs in a fast-moving environment.
