About Credo AI
Credo AI is a venture-backed company on a mission to empower organizations to responsibly build, adopt, procure and use AI at scale. Credo AI has built a pioneering platform for context-driven AI governance, AI risk assessment and compliance (to regulations like the EU AI Act and standards like NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 etc) to ensure compliant, fair, and auditable development and use of AI. Our goal is to move responsible AI development from an “ethical” choice to an obvious one-by ensuring AI’s benefits are universally accessible while addressing the full spectrum of its risks. We aim to do this both by making it easier for organizations to integrate responsible AI Governance practices into their AI development and by collaborating with regulators/policymakers to set up appropriate ecosystem incentives. Founded in 2020, Credo AI has been recognized as a one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2024 by Fast Company, a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, named to the CBInsights’ AI 100 List and World’s Most Promising Startups list, and included in Fast Company’s Next Big Thing in Tech and Intelligent Applications Top 40 by Madrona, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Pitchbook.

The ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members. We value individuals who can lead technical projects with confidence and expertise, guiding teams towards achieving our development goals.

Your eagerness to learn and adapt will be valued as our technology stack evolves and as new projects arise.
You might be a good fit if:
- You have a track record (3-5 years) of developing high-quality, maintainable, and robust software, ideally for enterprise-level applications using the following technologies:
- Languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
- Frameworks/Libraries: React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js
- Styling Tools: SASS, CSS-in-JS, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap
- Testing: Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Jasmine
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab
- APIs: REST, GraphQL, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman
- Experience with Responsive Web Design, Accessibility, and Design Systems are a plus
- Experience with Storybook, Docker, CI/CD and Authentication flows are a plus
- You’re known for your clear communication skills, capable of discussing complex technical issues in an understandable way.
- You have some experience with or interest in learning TypeScript, among other programming languages and frameworks.
- You’re highly motivated to learn new technologies and frameworks, constantly seeking to improve your skills and tackle new challenges.
Expectations:
- Designing and implementing front-end systems that meet our high standards for scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Communicating effectively with team members across the organization, from fellow engineers to product managers, to ensure clear understanding of project goals and to deliver high quality UI/UX.
- Exploring new technologies and programming languages and integrating them into our development practices where appropriate.
- AI fluency or willingness to learn is a requirement.
- Continuously learning and adapting to new technical challenges, staying ahead of the curve in backend development practices.
Your contribution will be vital in driving the success of our backend systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with our overall business goals.
