About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting, result oriented Category Associate  who can display strong execution skills along with high analytical horsepower to wade through complexity and ambiguity.
As Category Associate, you will be required to make and execute a plan for scaling up suppliers’ businesses, expanding selection and ensuring best prices for your category. You will also play an instrumental role in enabling the entire team to deliver the bar-raising performance every time. What you will do

  • Mentor, motivate & provide direction to a team of Key Account Managers
  • Advocate Meesho’s values &  principles across your team
  • Work with central teams to ensure best selection, affordable prices and high discovery on the platform
  • Develop robust processes for smooth execution of all critical tasks
  • Define KRA’s & goals for the team and individuals. Compile and evaluate metrics for success assessment of individual and team level tasks
  • Communicate priorities and key decisions with stakeholders with your excellent verbal, written & visual communication skills. Drive higher suppliers engagement and quick problem resolution through effectively guiding your team
  • Be comfortable with challenges and exude confidence to build processes to drive higher efficiency and better outcomes. Influence strategic decisions across the organization by earning the trust of your stakeholders. Effectively use quantitative & qualitative data to drive decisions & measure success
  • Helps define category short & medium term goals, design execution roadmap and set team priorities that align with company’s overall strategic goals

What you will need

  • BE/B.tech from premier institutes
  • MBA preferred. 1-3 years of overall experience with at least 1+ years in leading teams
  • Experience in Handling Category is an add-on
  • Experience with startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel to analyze data and build POV
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically
  • Deep understanding of business and customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Senior Manager – Brand Marketing

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager for the marketing team at Meesho.
The Meesho Brand is under construction and we are looking for a team member who has contributed to building a loved brand in India. This could be consumer facing brands in FMCG, D2C, Marketplace or Tech sectors. You are a first principle thinker and a deep problem solver, you have experience in structuring ambiguous problems using data, user insights and outside in best practices. You are good at identifying the right inputs and outputs for solving these problems. You are able to structure brand strategy and annual plans and secure the right resources to deliver them by collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization. You are able to take ambiguous problems and bring clarity on the way forward. You are equally comfortable in a data analysis / insights session and inspiring and jamming with creative partners. You thrive on user insights and are a person who likes to be out there meeting consumers frequently. You anchor your decisions in conviction coming from users, data or best practices in the Industry.
You are able to PMO large multi-functional projects independently – leading insights, social, product, business and media teams towards a common goal. You are focused on input metrics of marketing and are comfortable with driving business outcomes in the short and brand outcomes in the long term.

What you will do

  • Growth Strategy and Landscaping – You will go deeper into our historical learnings, data, user research and identify opportunities for the brand Meesho to build awareness, consideration and preference among user cohorts.
  • Annual Operating Plans : You will guide cross functional pods and lay out the on and off app communications, key brand equity campaigns and smaller topical or regional initiatives in an annual calendar for the teams to execute.
  • Brand Strategy – You will also refine the brand code ( foundational aspects of the brand like persona, emotions, benefits etc. ) and build guidelines and SOPs to bring consistency across touchpoints.
  • New Problem/Opportunity Identification : Track the progress of the brand on key equity parameters and platform metrics on a regular basis, Identify gaps or opportunities on these data points and validate them with user insights and outside in intelligence.
  • Lead large Cross-functional Initiatives – Build value propositions on and off app and drive go to market for them by leading cross functional pod of analytics, growth, design, creative, product, media, social and external talent and creative partners if required.

What you will need

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Core Brand Management for national brands
  • Track record of campaigns that were loved by users and drove business results
  • Background of top Tech, FMCG or Scaled D2C Brands in India
  • MBA from Top Tier B-School is preferred but not mandatory

Within User Growth, we are the Habit, Engagement and Resurrection (HER) team. And we especially focus on growing the base of users on the platform by improving retention and engagement . You will be part of a true rocketship driving autonomous growth for the company by optimizing user communications across different engagement channels.
As part of the team, you will also work with Program  Managers, Business Managers and Business Analysts across functions to identify and solve varying problem statements.
About the Role
As Growth Associate in our team, you’ll play a huge role in driving growth in the non performance communication team . You’ll handle on-app and off-app communications including but not limited to PNs, SMS and Whatsapp campaigns , popups etc
You’ll own the execution, tracking and performance of our campaigns and experiments. You’ll also make sure the governance of overall PN system is maintained at central level and would also support other orgs within the company with campaigns support for various cross org projects.

What you will do

  • Manage and execute marketing campaigns on push notifications and whatsapp
  • Partner with  growth ,business and product teams on a wide variety of marketing activity, planning, and execution
  • Stay on top of relevant metrics to ensure constant improvement and quality checks for better results
  • Create data-based recommendations for campaigns and real estate to optimize the shopping experience
  • Timely track, analyse and report performance of various constructs/activities/campaigns
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and innovations to improve relevant metrics within the app
  • Liaise with various stakeholders within the organization to optimize for the platform

What you will need

  • A mass communication and media degree
  • 1-3 years of work experience in media agencies/startups/consumer internet companies in growth/category marketing roles
  • Experience with CRM tools like Clevertap, MoEngage, WebEngage, etc.
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools
