About The Job

In this role, you will provide media expertise and critical support to shape the future of a variety of key Google products. You will partner with product marketing managers on campaign strategy, tactical media plan reviews, and measurement recommendations. You will be working with cross-functional teams and contribute to determining positioning, naming, analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, and help shape the product and grow a consumer base. You will play a key role in oversight and coordination of all advertising leveraging Google’s own advertising products and services and media platforms. Additionally, you will also play a key role in defining the process, ensuring sound management of digital advertising and agency management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for management of all Google media planning in India and for Google media planning for APAC apps. Manage a team across India and APAC locations.
  • Construct processes to ensure structured management of media campaigns across social, on-network and off-network media.
  • Provide programmatic thought leadership including innovation, assessments, external benchmarking and develop standards for digital advertising.
  • Define and implement a measurement construct for programs and review performance reporting outputs. Use data to uncover new media opportunities, audience insights and decisions.
  • Engage and lead our media agencies to ensure their day-to-day work is flawless and help them go beyond quick fixes to long-term forward thinking solutions. Enable and ensure our media agencies stay up-to-date on the latest ads solutions including new features on Google Ads.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in HR, operations, process improvement, or relevant field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
  • Experience with financial reporting or operational accounting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience implementing and improving business processes and systems.
  • Ability to handle a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and priorities in ambiguous and evolving areas of scope.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills, and experience with ERP Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
