Summary: As a Data Centre Operator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of a data center, including physical and security checks, physical tape/media management, and acting as ‘remote hands’ for the administrator. Your typical day will involve providing support for Microsoft Windows Desktop Management and assisting with physical vendor intervention. Roles & Responsibilities: – Provide support for Microsoft Windows Desktop Management, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripherals. – Manage day-to-day activities of a data center, including physical and security checks, physical tape/media management, and acting as ‘remote hands’ for the administrator. – Assist with physical vendor intervention, such as the replacement of a part, and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. – Maintain accurate records of all activities and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and readily available for review. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of ongoing projects.
