Consultant – Sports Operations

About the job

Sports Operations @Dream11:

Ensuring that our users enjoy a seamless and consistent experience during every contest is key for us. Our Dream11 Sports Operations team works diligently behind the scenes to ensure the same. They manage the user journey, from announcing the match schedule to the results of the contest. If you want to ‘Make Sports Better’ and delight our growing base of users, this is the team for you.

Your Role:

  • Keeping a tab on all the latest live matches assigned to the individual
  • Verifying fantasy points & match events as per actual videos available on different platforms
  • Coordinating with the team to ensure all allocated tasks are completed on time
  • Creating fantasy sports tours and monitoring fantasy sports scores, stats etc.
  • Maintaining player positions/categories and player pricing/credits

Qualifiers:

  • Openness to working in shifts & on weekends
  • Solid with MS Office: MS Excel, spreadsheet & MS Word: Tools such as V-lookup, Pivot table & other basic functions
  • Knowledge of key statistics (players/tournaments) in at least one sport

Contract Duration

Manager – Product (Gameplay)

Your Role:

  • Plan and execute successful feature launches and marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention
  • Own the entire product development lifecycle from end to end
  • Sets and tracks the right metrics for the product and uses this information to make data-driven decisions
  • Use data and customer feedback to identify customer needs, pain points and opportunities to improve the product
  • Effectively and clearly communicate the user problem and the feature/product vision

Qualifiers:

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Management in growth domain at a high growth B2C company
  • Excellent communication and data skills

Product Operations (Consultant)

Product Operations is a cross-functional role designed to guarantee successful collaborative work among all teams connected to the product life cycle e.g. the people who are building the product—product managers, design and engineering, as well as support functions such as Sports Operations, Marketing and Customer Support.

Your Role:

  • Planning and executing promotional campaigns, to affect metrics like activation, retention, and conversion
  • Enabling product and content team to drive experimentation across communication channels
  • Owning MIS for the business function and drives learnings for the same
  • Working with product, content, and business analytics teams in collecting and analyzing product data and metrics
  • Conducting user research to identify user needs and market gaps

Qualifiers

  • 1+ years of prior work experience with a keen interest in operations
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and excel with an eye for business metrics

Manager – Digital Marketing

Your Role:

  • Handing digital marketing campaigns for Dream11
  • Expert campaign manager across platforms (Meta, Google, Direct Publishers)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve onboarding problems
  • Deep understanding of ad-tech and analytics(MMPs, Visualisation Tools, Databases)
  • Work with the brand marketing & partnerships teams on Rights, IP, traditional media, collabs etc.

Qualifiers:

  • 4-6 years of digital marketing experience at a B2C company
  • Knowledge of how customer journey optimisation at B2C companies
  • Understanding of online marketing ecosystem(Self-serve platforms, publishers, OEMs, Affiliates etc.)

Senior Manager – Business Analytics

We work with terabytes of data, the infrastructure for which is built on top of Kafka, Redshift, Spark, Druid, etc. and it powers a number of use cases like Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics. Our tech stack is hosted on AWS, with distributed systems like Cassandra, Aerospike, Akka, Voltdb, Ignite, etc.

Your Role:

  • Implementing and guiding the team in solving business problems through structured analytical solutions through various techniques (modelling, heuristic, business rules, GenAI. etc.)
  • Defining and improving business health metrics through influencing product roadmaps and collaboration
  • Demonstrating high degree of bias to action by converting preliminary analysis into impactful updates with structured collaboration
  • Harnessing user feedback from various channels to drive meaningful product enhancements
  • Ensuring transparent communication by openly sharing impediments, issues, project plans, status, and delays with all stakeholders
  • Assisting in internal and external branding/growth by participating in hiring, writing blogs, etc. & driving knowledge dissemination across teams

Qualifiers:

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in the analytics domain
  • High proficiency in statistical and analytical programming (R / Python / PySpark) and other tools (Looker / Tableau / Power BI / Omniture/ Amplitude etc.)
  • Proficiency in product experimentation (A/B, A/A, DOE, Multivariate)
  • Experience in Machine Learning
