Client Services Consultant I
Role Value Proposition:
The Client Service Consultant I (CSC I) has overall accountability for the day-to-day administrative service support of multiple Regional Markets Accounts. The CSC I is part of an overall account team tasked with understanding the customers’ needs and wants and focused on delivering group benefit products that meet those needs, along with delivering a service experience that exceeds expectations and makes it easy for customers to do business with MetLife.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall accountability for: client requests, leads projects, provides clients with alternative solutions, identifies possible plan design alternatives, acts as a liaison between the client and internal MetLife teams.
- Collaborates and acts as a liaison to assist with problem resolution and troubleshooting.
- Provides exceptional customer service to support ongoing customer delivery and client satisfaction.
- Participates in client account audits and strategic planning process.
- Partners with Financial team in completion of client reports; analyzing results and identifying trends.
- Leads and coordinates implementation of the addition of MetLife products on a global basis.
- Participates in strategy meetings, establishes specific processes and reports, reviews contract documents, completes broker agreements, creates process manuals, and inputs and ensures accurate input of data in MetLife systems.
- Maintains awareness and knowledge of MetLife’s and competitors’ products and trends.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- 2+ years of account management and client services experience
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently in order to meet client deadlines.
- Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to balance client expectations with MetLife capabilities
