Connection Specialist
Description
We are in search of a Connection Specialist to join our team in the Healthcare sector, based in Phoenix, Arizona 85013. As a Connection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service through the prompt and accurate handling of calls. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Shifts available – (12-hour shift, 3 times a week)
- 6am-6:30pm
- 9am-9:30pm
Responsibilities:
• Operate a multi-line switchboard, ensuring all inbound calls are answered promptly and directed to the appropriate party.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of telecommunications hardware, software, and PBX platform, as well as multiple IT applications.
• Respond to emergency alarms and initiate appropriate responses, including making emergency announcements.
• Handle a high volume of calls per shift, quickly assessing each caller’s needs and routing calls accordingly.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and treat all callers with kindness and respect.
• Support our internal and external callers, acting as the communication hub for our patients, hospitals, employees, and physicians.
• Be prepared to respond to life safety events and escalate calls when necessary.
• Use communication tools and materials effectively, understanding how the culture of patient populations can affect communication, collaboration, and the provision of care, treatment, and services.
• Keep up-to-date with our systems and processes through provided training.
• Make a direct impact on the patient experience daily by handling each call with care.

• Apply Best Practices and Brand Awareness in all content creation and management processes.
• Plan and execute content campaigns using proficient Campaign Planning skills.
• Use CSS and other necessary skills for web content management.

• Retrieve medical records from various healthcare facilities for retrospective and prospective reviews.
• Upload retrieved paper and electronic medical charts into our secure system for review and analysis.
• Conduct fieldwork which includes traveling to provider offices within a defined radius.
• Utilize various software applications for retrieving and uploading medical records.
