What You’ll Work On

This is an entry level position is for our Dryer department. Our dryer equipment converts liquid product into dried powder forms, primarily infant formula. Quality is maintained via equipment that monitors drying parameters as well as employees visually inspecting the equipment to ensure efficient operations.  The operators will also be responsible for the cleaning of the equipment via our CIP (Clean in Place) system.

This entry level position allows new operators to become familiar with plant procedures and policies, which enable them to learn the basics of their assigned dryer. The operator will learn the operation of the Dryer and CIP (clean in place) Systems and will assist the dryer technicians and specialists with more complex systems.  This will facilitate their development towards positions of increasing responsibility. Operators will gain operational knowledge and applicable tasks of evaporating batches, product sterilization, drying product, weighing and adding vitamins, add up corrections, troubleshooting and CIP of equipment.  Will need to learn and follow all GMP and safety guidelines, to stay in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • BA or equivalent experience required: MBA preferred.

What You’ll Work On

  • Receiving Operations: Create very accurate & legible documentation, perform data entry accurately, maintain all applicable databases with needed information, and efficiently process inbound pallets through the proper process
  • Loading, Unloading, Casepicking, Barcoding and Palletizer Operations: Perform all tasks safely, assure accurate documentation, follow all process procedures / guidelines, assure trailers are loaded to meet weight requirements, and perform all tasks in an efficient & effective manner. We are hiring a Point of Care Solutions Specialist (Outpatient) in our Abbott Point of Care (APOC) Division selling to outpatient customers covering Northern Florida territory. The Point of Care Solution Specialist works independently within an assigned territory leading commercial execution to increase market share and drive sustainable growth.  Working in a collaborative environment, the Sales Specialist will partner with internal support team members to identify opportunities and create strategies that move sales cycles forward.  The position reports to the District Manager and requires up to 50% travel to provide customer-focused service and effectively support business goals.

  • Create, maintain, and grow relationships between you, APOC and our Distributor Partners in assigned territory.

Territory Manager, Structural Heart – Structural Intervention

The Opportunity

The Territory Manager, Structural Interventions is a field-based position, responsible for ensuring that the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives. The Territory Manager will work with their Regional Director to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential and to establish and achieve annual sales objectives in assigned territory. They will coordinate activities with clinical consultants and negotiate contracts with external customers. This role keeps the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity.

 

This particular role is focused on Abbott’s Amplatzer Congenital offering which encompasses atrial septal defects (ASD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), ventricular septal defects (VSD), and patent foramen ovale (PFO).

 

What You’ll Work On

  • Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition and pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company’s products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Develops action plans (i.e., weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of particular accounts and discussing issues with regional manager to help the organization achieve its sales goals.

  • Builds networks of contacts on behalf of company to stimulate interest in company’s products by attending and participating in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
  • Educates external customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to secure purchasing commitments.
  • Maintains clinical and technical expertise by attending company product training sessions.
  • Assesses trends in managed care, competitors’ strategies, and new product development by monitoring internal (e.g. sales growth, product mix, and pricing trends) and external indicators (e.g. competitors’ activities, technologies, websites, journals, and newsletters).
  • Prepares and submits reports to sales management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information.

 

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years’ of which include Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific sales experience.
