Lead the creation of an industry-leading Behavioral Science function to transform customer experiences through data-driven design and insights. As the Senior Data Scientist Manager of Behavioral Science, you will be the architect of a new discipline within the organization, building a behavioral science capability. This role blends advanced data science techniques with behavioral insights to uncover patterns in human behavior, optimize user experiences, and inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and behavioral theory, with experience applying these skills in real-world settings.

You will design the groundwork for behavioral insights and leverage these to understand how customers interact with products and services, applying these learnings to redesign experiences that drive engagement, trust, and satisfaction. Working in partnership with pricing, data science, UX, and business strategy teams, you will influence high-impact initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes that shape the future of customer interactions.

Leadership & Strategy 

  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and experts, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Builds alignment for vision and strategy with business and technology stakeholders, fostering relationships and engaging resources across departments.
  • Determines optimal program organization and delivery approach, assists in managing budget, coordinating resources and oversees development of integrated project plans.

Behavioral Science Application 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert and consultant in data, analytics, and behavioral frameworks to optimize economic decision-making, reduce friction in digital journeys, and redesign customer interactions.
  • Design and oversee experiments to test behavioral interventions (e.g., nudges, choice architecture) for customer engagement and retention.

Advanced Analytics & Modeling 

  • Builds and evolves vision and strategy leveraging AI, machine learning/predictive modeling, optimization and data within their area of responsibility.
  • Ensure robust experimental design and causal inference methodologies for behavioral impact measurement.

Supervisory responsibilities: 

  • This job has supervisory duties.

Experience: 

  • 10+ years of experience in data science, preferably with a behavioral science focus. (Preferred)

Functional Skills: 

  • Proven knowledge of advanced techniques, and when and where to apply them.  Proven knowledge of ability to execute these statistical techniques in modern development environments (including but not limited to: Python, R, Tensorflow, docker, Kubernetes, etc)
  • Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, and experimental design.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral theories and frameworks.
  • Ability to provide written and oral interpretation of highly specialized terms, data, and complex strategies.  Ability to present this to others with different levels of expertise.
  • Ability to concentrate on a wide range of loosely defined complex situations, which require application of creativity and originality, where guidance and counsel may be unavailable.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with survey design and psychometric analysis.
  • Knowledge of ethical considerations in behavioral data use.
  • Experience working with product teams or in consumer-facing environments.
  • Experience in industries such as healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, or public policy.

Allstate Investments’ Global Research group is seeking an associate analyst to join our credit research team as a generalist that supports our high yield and CLO mandates. This opportunity is intended for undergraduate students graduating in Spring 2026.

The associate analyst role supports the analyst team in underwriting credit investments and making recommendations based on a thorough understanding of industry and company fundamentals, as well as valuation. Our process is very team-oriented, so the ability to work well within the group is critical. The goal of the research team is to help deliver the best possible results for our clients. This job involves building financial models, developing investment themes, credit analysis, and communicating recommendations.

Job Description

Inside Property Adjuster –Hybrid – Long Island City,  NY

A day in the life of an inside Property Adjuster, and what it takes to do the job!

As a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster, you will provide exceptional service to our policyholders. Working in this hybrid environment, your primary responsibility will involve virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. You will be interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration. This communication will take place through different channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages. This role places a particular focus on water losses, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support and resolution for these specific claims.

You’ll wear a few hats that will require a level of experience:

  • The Customer Service Expert –you’ll live into Allstate’s Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring, and you will accomplish that by being compassionate, clear, and a committed partner in each Property claim. You lead with empathy, always.
  • The Investigator – you’ll confidently and independently investigate property claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
  • The Effective Communicator – you’ll use phone, emails and sometimes even video chat with customers to help them through a fast, fair, and easy claims process. You’ll also incorporate a specific approach to claim handling to offer the customer their preference of communication to efficiently discuss their claim needs and keep them updated on the claim progress.
  • The Negotiator – You will evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants, in accordance with all legal and business standard methodologies. With negotiations, you will incorporate tactics in handling challenging and complex situations.
  • The Problem Solver –you’ll utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms, all while using your sharp critical thinking skills.
  • The Recorder – you’ll protect the company financially by executing policies along policy agreements, and you keep a clear record of your work in a claims system that you will be trained on. You’ll accomplish this by ensuring timely and accurate documentation is completed as you work on each claim.

Preferred Qualifications:
