Summary of the Role

The onsite Associate Manager, Delivery Management ensures quality and consistency in service delivery and field service management for Amadeus Airport IT products and services at Navi Mumbai Airport. Acting as the Single Point of Contact, this role addresses customer queries, concerns, and service requests, coordinating with internal teams to provide timely resolutions. The manager mobilizes line organizations to meet customer expectations and oversees a team of field service engineers working 24/7.

In this Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities

  • Vision and Strategy: Understand Amadeus and customer strategies, assist in defining the Account Development Plan. Influence departmental strategy with a mid/long-term vision, making complex decisions based on a broad understanding of the environment.
  • Customer Management, Delivery & Reporting: Develop relationships with IT and business executives, ensure consistent delivery, facilitate transitions, and coordinate meetings. Oversee Airport customer success in the region, from post-implementation to solution adoption, health monitoring, upsell opportunities, retention, and contract renewal.
  • Strategic Guidance: Understand the needs of high-value strategic customers, guide the onsite support team, and promote early adoption of Amadeus products.
  • Post-Sales Management: Lead the post-sales cycle, focusing on successful sales, renewals, and account expansion. Identify upsell opportunities, propose business improvements, and manage vendor relationships, supporting contract negotiations and vendor sourcing. Analyze customer requirements, identify up-sell opportunities, support sales, and gather competitive information.
  • Performance Accountability: Manage the budget, performance, and results of a medium-sized field service support team, influencing resource allocation, budget planning, and team development.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Customer Success Managers and Airport Delivery Managers, ensuring excellence in airport, airline, and GHA operations.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure consistent service delivery and field service management for Amadeus Airport IT products, acting as the Single Point of Contact for customer queries and service requests.
  • Internal Communication: Facilitate interaction with Amadeus stakeholders, share account information, and collaborate on knowledge creation.
  • Resource and Skills Development: Stay updated on product evolutions, adhere to standard processes, and participate in continuous improvement and training.
  • Incident Management: Oversee customer incident management, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs. Escalate issues as needed and provide Root Cause Analysis and Post Incident Reports for high-severity incidents.
  • Problem Management: Identify and address system and application issues, coordinating with internal teams to provide fixes and releases.
  • Change Management: Manage the customer Change Management process, working with Business Analysts and R&D teams to scope and implement changes.
  • Release Management: Coordinate system and application troubleshooting, log analysis, and User Acceptance Testing with customers.
  • Asset Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all airport assets.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Ensure the field services team performs necessary preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failure.
  • Service Level Reporting and Improvement: Prepare monthly service review and performance reports, lead service improvement processes, and attend customer meetings.

Pre-sales Engineer

Summary of the Role

As a key member of our team, you will provide functional and technical pre-sales support to the Sales and Account Management teams for promoting and selling Amadeus solutions. Additionally, you will offer your expertise throughout the entire customer cycle.

 

In this role you’ll / Your main responsibilities
RFP/RFI engagements and unsolicited proposals:
* You will set up high-level project timelines for the RFP response, identify and secure resource requirements from relevant groups (Project Managers, Developers, Application Development Professionals) and coordinate all components/inputs to the response.
* You’ll produce solution-related documentation for IT customer proposals.

Engagement Planning, monitoring and reporting:
* Plan and manage all solution-oriented activities for IT bid projects, including additional services.

* You will ensure an effective handover of IT sales projects to project implementation teams.

Solutions presentations and demonstrations:
* Produce and deliver solution-related presentations, including product demonstrations. Translate software features into benefits that solve customer business problems to maximize the customer’s perception of solution value
* You will produce high-level plans and provide high-level presentations on migration and implementation activities.

Scope definition and approval process:
* Lead Technical Scoping workshops to identify and reference all gaps and interfaces to be developed. Collaborate with Amadeus and customer senior management as needed.
* You will coordinate different functional streams on the customer side with Amadeus PM and Product Definition teams in order to ensure end to end solution consistency and viability.
* You will minimize functional and technical gaps throughout the sales engagement.
* You will also coordinate the approval process ensuring sign off of customer and Amadeus groups.
Amadeus portfolio evolution
* Contribute to the Amadeus solution strategy by providing market and customer requirements to Marketing and Product Management for product qualification.(private or community product, itemized product or included in baseline)

– The ideal candidate possesses the necessary technical and functional expertise in their field, along with an understanding of the Amadeus business and its relevance to their area

Front Offices team is looking for a software development manager who will be responsible for delivery excellence, new project initiatives that will be taken up in the area of the following products Selling Platform Connect, Open Profile Suite. The ideal candidate would have strong product development expertise in leading teams in the delivery of product releases.

The job involves a mix of team management, project management skills, and direct technical initiatives involving software development, architecture design etc.

The person should have played/worked in global companies with the ability to own and drive initiatives that span across different office locations.

The candidate should have had exposure to latest development tools and practices and should continuously work in adopting those practices in Amadeus so that the productivity of the developers is enhanced.

Your main responsibilities:

About the ideal candidate

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in product development; minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role. Should have experience / interacted with global counterparts
  • Good experience in software development / delivery; leading development teams
  • Good technical knowledge in enterprise Java related technologies (Java, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ Angular, Bootstrap, Spring, Jenkins, RDBMs)
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies –Kafka, Apache Spark, NoSQL
  • Experience in applying design patterns, data structures, algorithms
  • Experience working on full stack end-to-end products (all tiers)
  • Good team management skills; should have experience in mentoring team on technical topics
  • Worked in a product development building enterprise scale web application on the cloud
  • Experience in Unix / Windows systems
  • Experience in CI / CD; exposure to Dockers / Kubernetes / Chef would be good
  • Good experience working in a dynamic environment using Agile processes (Scrum, SAFe)
