Job Description:

As an Associate Digital Design Engineer at ADI, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of digital integrated circuits (ICs) such as microprocessors, memory systems, and digital signal processing units. You will work closely with senior engineers, using hardware description languages like Verilog or VHDL to model, simulate, and verify digital circuits. You will gain hands-on experience in design synthesis, static timing analysis, and FPGA prototyping. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analog, verification, and process engineers, to debug and optimize the performance of fabricated ICs.

This position includes formal and on-the-job training, providing excellent opportunities to develop technical skills and grow within the digital design field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, simulation, and verification of digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL.
  • Collaborate with verification engineers to ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Support static timing analysis (STA) and other verification processes to ensure proper timing and performance.
  • Participate in FPGA prototyping for rapid testing and validation of digital designs.
  • Work with senior engineers to debug and optimize digital ICs.

Skills You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Digital Circuit Design: Basic expertise in designing and modifying digital circuits for ICs.
  • Firmware / Embedded Design: Introductory skills in designing firmware and embedded systems.
  • Digital Modeling: Ability to create digital models and verify their accuracy under supervision.
  • EDA Tools: Familiarity with EDA tools for design verification.
  • Finite-State Machines: Basic understanding of designing finite-state machines for control logic.
  • Verilog RTL: Proficiency in using Verilog for RTL design and verification tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships or co-op experience.
  • Basic knowledge of digital design principles and verification tools.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Associate Design Verification Engineer

As an Associate Design Verification Engineer at ADI, you will play a critical role in verifying the design of digital, analog, and mixed-signal products before they reach the tape-out stage. You will work on developing and enhancing test benches, conducting verification, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements. This role will also involve using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and scripting to create automated environments for verification tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the design process.

This position includes formal training and mentorship, with opportunities to grow your expertise in design verification methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test benches for verifying digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs.
  • Perform verification using EDA tools, ensuring designs meet functional and performance targets.
  • Identify and resolve design issues early in the verification cycle to improve quality.

Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations

Analog Devices’ has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor in our Beaverton, OR facility. Experience with Wafer Fab is a plus, however not required. The position reports to the Manufacture Operations Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Supervise and motivate a team of operators and leads in a high volume, semiconductor manufacturing environment, to meet daily, weekly and quarterly production goals.
    • Establish a safe and healthy work environment by maintaining and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal requirements and regulations.
    • Ensure high quality output by managing team attendance, optimizing workload allocation, enforcing procedure and specifications, as well as issue identification and resolution.
    • Consistently demonstrate proactive communication with co-supervisors, direct reports, support groups and management to establish clear direction and alignment on priorities and metrics.
    • Work with your direct reports to develop and improve individual and team performance through coaching, appraising job results, counseling and course correcting employees.
    • Participate in and model, continuous improvement activities, using Lean Manufacturing principles that are aligned with the actions of the other shifts.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending required training, educational workshops and reviewing professional publications (both on and off shift).
    • Responsible for corrective actions to address problems associated with processing or operating machines or equipment and conduct formal employee performance evaluations.
    • Supervisors may be expected to participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities; and will be expected to manage appropriate responses to workplace safety incidents.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • AS or BS degree and/or equivalent experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. BS degree and study in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other technical fields is preferred.
    • Proven expertise managing a team of 15-30 direct reports in a manufacturing environment. Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as you will be working in a team environment that is very data driven.
    • Must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of building a team and providing training and leadership to promote a team oriented working environment.
    • Advanced computer skills are required including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word).

Compliance Counsel

ADI is seeking an experienced Compliance Counsel that will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. This role will be based in Wilmington, Massachusetts, and will work with global, cross-functional teams of lawyers and other Compliance personnel.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Advise business partners, including senior executives, on ethics and regulatory compliance matters locally, nationally, and internationally, including tracking of trends, enforcement, and public policy.
  • Oversee assessments of risk stemming from applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Oversee ADI’s third-party due diligence program.
  • Keep informed of relevant legal developments and brief stakeholders on applicability to company activities.
  • Develop, review, and regularly update company policies and practices, with the ability to implement and train on complementary process improvements accordingly.
  • Lead internal compliance investigations as required.
  • Review proposed corrective action plans to ensure compliance.
  • Proactively develop and implement employee training plans in accordance with organizational needs.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms for detecting, reporting and correcting violations so as to ensure minimal impact and optimal correction.
  • Recommend corporate policies and strategies that promote the company’s goals while complying with regulations.
  • Promote the company’s interests by participating in public hearings, developing relationships with agency representatives and contributing to public discourse around developments in laws, policies and enforcement.
  • Implement changes in company policy.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Juris Doctor degree and active bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including experience managing ethics and integrity initiatives, conducting internal investigations, and/or drafting or modifying policies or procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills and communication skills.
  • Strong business judgement and organizational agility.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-start and prioritize based on strategic and client-based needs.
  • Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters.
  • Robust experience with project management and business processes/systems.
  • Detail-oriented, with high regard for quality assurance.
  • Pragmatic, organized, and customer-focused, ability to lead program practically
  • Proven ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization and drive issues to a resolution.
  • High-level proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
