SALARY: $79,200 – $94,050, bonus eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:

If you are interested in a hands-on, continuous improvement-oriented, fast-paced role in a world-class manufacturing environment then our Brewery Area Manager role is for you. This is a chance to be on the production floor, troubleshooting and problem solving on the fly to ensure we meet our production goals. This is a chance to develop as a leader, change agent, and Engineer.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Front-line manager role supervising operators and maintenance execution in a 24/7 production facility.
  • Responsible for Safety, Quality, and Production of two Packaging lines on your designated shift
  • Own your team’s development through upskilling and on the job experiences to increase team engagement and drive results
  • Learn brewing and packaging processes through hands-on training.
  • Lead and coach teams through solving problems and monitoring of key operating processes and equipment utilizing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology.
  • Promote and encourage safe working practices.
  • Become a qualified beer taster to ensure the quality of our products (if of legal drinking age).
  • Manage highly automated, complex processes in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
  • Identify areas to improve operations in order to achieve or exceed key performance indicators and targets.
  • Work with senior leaders to drive process improvement initiatives and change efforts.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and schedules to ensure excellent process performance and product quality.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, but a concentration in engineering, supply chain management, science, or related subject area is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work any shifts required (days, afternoons, midnights).
  • Willingness to work some weekends based on production or maintenance activities. Weekends are paid above base salary.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead by example.
  • High comfort level with change, along with strong influencing skills catalyzing others to change.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Technical and problem-solving capabilities.

Packaging Area Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of unionized employees to optimize production efficiency
  • Develop and monitor production plans, inventories, and coordinate activities to meet schedules and target objectives
  • Manage strategic plan for manpower and training/coaching for the department
  • Execution of health and safety programs, and enforce critical aspects of safety and quality involved in brewing/ beer operations
  • Manages department financial results and inventories and track via SAP
  • Creation and Implementation of tools and process resources to improve quality, safety, efficiency, etc.
  • Responsible to achieve supply of beer with correct volume, brand on time and within quality specifications to the packaging department
  • Utilize Management System tools to achieve critical metric targets and close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, Gap Analysis, MCRS meeting schedules and action logs, 5 – Why’s, PDCA and SDCA cycles, etc.).
  • Oversee preventative maintenance work in area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are being followed.
  • Responsible for driving Engagement improvement in the brewing department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean out stalls, replace bedding, clean and maintain display stable facility.
  • Assist with administering care of Clydesdales: feed, water, groom, and etc.
  • Clean and polish leather harnesses and brass / clean & polish wagon
  • Maintain trucks, wagon, equipment, tools, etc.
  • Operate tractor / trailers and assist with set up of portable stalls / display.
  • Perform public relations / interact with public & media.

Manager, Category Space

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Category Manager with a passion for the Beer Industry to work in the Southeast Region. This position will work across regional large format and small format customers with a major focus on leading in developing insights, seeing opportunities, and presenting recommendations based on our IGNITE framework to lead future industry growth for our retail customers. Searching for an individual who takes ownership of their work, that is detail orientated, strongly analytical and always pushes themselves to reach higher and accomplish more.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

 

  • Build strong relationship with Account as a trusted Category advisor across all areas of the Beer business and Alcohol department
  • Lead reset processes from start to finish as Category Captains.
  • Lead, motivate and drive strong engagement with sales partners
  • Effectively communicate, manage and prioritize workload across multiple customers
  • Lead future industry growth in assigned areas of responsibilities
  • Develop impactful category analyses and consumer insights using a range of syndicated and non-syndicated data sources
  • Synthesize learnings from various sources (shopper data, scan data, custom research) to create clear and impactful selling stories in a visually appealing manner using PowerPoint
  • Effectively educate internal teammates and external customers on growth opportunities through clear and impactful communications

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar field
  • Strong familiarity using space planning software (JDA, Apollo or Spaceman)
  • Moderate to Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel to organize , manipulate and visualize the story line for presentations
  • Strong familiarity with IRI syndicated data, software, and measures
  • Awareness of shopper panel information data, software, and measures (IRI, Numerator, PDI, etc.)
