Territory Sales Representative

You may be responsible for helping find the right product fit for a team of young inventors that are working on a “bionic” hand that can be designed with Autodesk Software and made with a 3-D printer or an architect designing green eco-friendly friendly buildings and homes or even a 3D Games Designer designing games that can help solve the climate challenge.

 

If you are a successful sales professional who has experience finding new accounts as well as developing and maintaining existing accounts in a B2B consultative selling environment this is a great fit for you! Territories are assigned based on experience and career level. A successful individual will be managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing (new accounts) and identifying areas for providing additional value (existing accounts). As well as orchestrating sales via channel partners and resellers.

Responsibilities

  • B2B territory sales with a focus on prospecting, presenting, and selling complex software products and services to new small and medium-sized business (SMB) AND /OR Enterprise customers, thereby generating net new revenue while growing existing revenue
  • Sell within one of Autodesk’s key industry verticals: AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction), Manufacturing or Media & Entertainment
  • Uncover and Understand customer requirements in order to recommend and effectively sell Autodesk products or industry solutions
  • Evangelize and Educate – both Customers and Channel Partners- Selling software as a Service in a subscription-based software license model
  • Provide best in class customer experience
  • Expand opportunities and increase average deal sizes by up-selling add-on and cross-selling a proven and customer-loved portfolio of Autodesk products
  • Develops and maintains territory account plans and detailed financial forecasts
  • Create and present accurate sales forecasts, and achieves sales targets
  • Demonstrates Company’s values, maintains a positive open demeanor, encourages different points of view, contributes positively to team and colleagues by fostering teamwork and collaboration
  • Account planning (including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, business justifications, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long-range account management strategies

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Quota-carrying sales experience selling complex technology solutions- SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Previous B2B Sales experience selling to SMB or Enterprise Accounts
  • Previous experience using Salesforce.com
  • Sound business acumen
  • Demonstrated track record of success: consistently exceeding quota in a structured, disciplined, sales environment that includes strategic and collaborative/team selling
  • Experience selling via channel partners
  • Experience accurately forecasting and reporting on territory /account activity

Director, Water Industry Strategy

The Director of Water Industry Strategy will oversee a dedicated team responsible for shaping and communicating Autodesk’s growth strategy within the Water sector. This role will lead the strategic business planning process, collaborating cross-functionally to develop actionable growth strategies and ensure alignment and execution. As a key leader, you will advocate for Autodesk’s water business both internally and externally, representing the company at major industry events and fostering strategic customer relationships.

 

In addition, this team will evaluate and address critical strategic challenges facing Autodesk, providing leadership to resolve issues or develop action-oriented plans to meet defined goals. You and your team will also identify, nurture, and manage strategic industry partnerships, investments, and acquisitions to support Autodesk’s water strategy. This role reports to the Vice President of AEC Design Strategy. The position is flexible, with the option to be based anywhere in North America, and will require approximately 30% travel, both domestically and internationally.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direct the efforts of Managers, Senior Managers, and subject-matter experts, ensuring impactful contributions to divisional strategies.
  • Lead one or more disciplines within the business, contributing to the strategic direction and overall function.

  • 10+ years of experience in the water industry, with at least 4+ years in a leadership role within a related field.

  • Comfortable working in an environment of ambiguity, with the ability to iterate and adjust while balancing competing priorities and making strategic trade-offs.

Sr. Technical Content Developer, Civil Engineering & Design

As a Sr. Technical Content Developer, Civil Engineering & Design at Autodesk, you will play a crucial role in the Content Strategy & Experience team within Customer Technical Success (CTS). You will ensure high-quality product expertise is delivered to customers as they learn, adopt, and use Autodesk’s platform through impactful content experiences. In this role, you will join a global team of content creators who design integrated omni-channel audience-centric content plans and focus on continuous content improvements to drive customer success. You will orchestrate content development for customers and partners with a focus on digital support experience for the AECO industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, find and use customers’ and products’ insights to create audience-focused content plans that improve customers’ post-purchase digital support experience across Autodesk Civil Engineering & Design products. This implies a proactive mindset with designing and implementing programs to manage the entire content lifecycle, aligning anticipated customer needs with the right content formats, at the right time, and delivery systems. Additionally, plan and execute on content integration for new products to ensure seamless transitions and consistent user experiences
  • Use data driven insights and product expertise to enhance content that increases consumption and findability through digital channels with a priority focus on Civil 3D and InfraWorks. Ensure content is published, accurate, easy to consume, and optimized for delivery across channels, especially through search engines (SEO) and Large Language Models (LLM)
  • Monitor effectiveness of technical content development and provide actionable recommendations and insights. Guide and train CTS staff on best practices for content creation focusing on efficiency and quality
  • Represent CTS at industry events both internally and externally (Tech talks, booth, product overviews), building trust and authority among peers and collaborators through clear communication, alignment, and delivering on significant outcomes
  • Stay updated on AECO industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content strategy. Integrate relevant insights into the team to promote a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
  • AECO industry knowledge and must-have product expertise with Civil 3D and InfraWorks. Any other Autodesk product expertise is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in creating and managing audience-focused content plans, analyzing audiences, and handling the entire content lifecycle, from writing & editing technical content to publishing & maintaining content hygiene
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, turning strategic plans into clear tasks, prioritizing activities based on urgency and impact, simplifying complex projects, and driving progress and improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven, proven ability to work independently and collaborate well across various levels and locations
  • Good understanding of customer support operations, knowledge management, and self-service strategies

We’re looking for a strategic, collaborative sales expert to join our team, which is part of the AMER Business Development organization at Autodesk. We’re a fast-growing, hybrid team located in Atlanta, Georgia. We like to convene a few times per month for intentional gatherings in our Midtown office, where we create learning opportunities, recognize performance, and spend time building team culture.
Responsibilities

  • Reporting to an Inbound Business Development manager, you will support revenue growth in the territory segment of the Autodesk Construction division
  • Collaborate with, and learn from, some of the best sales account executives and product specialists
  • Speak to, and schedule meetings with companies that are eager to improve their efficiency and sustainability in the built space
