    About Analytics Stewardship Team:

    Analytics Stewardship team brings together the functional expertise and responsibilities within the Aladdin Data organization to ensure Aladdin’s investment and risk analytics meets highest standard of quality and are delivered at scale. Analytics Stewards works along with Client Business, Product, Engineering, and broader Aladdin Data teams on design, improvement, development, and deployment of new and existing analytics.

    Leveraging financial market and analytics subject matter expertise, data science and engineering knowledge, and data governance principles, the team designs and supports Analytics Data solutions, which spans across quality management, change management, meta data management, incident/inquiry management and commercialization of analytics data assets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as an owner of analytics solutions supported by the Aladdin Data platform. Aspire to grow & improve the analytics estate and increase its commercial value.
    • Understanding of private credit and risk models with a particular focus on Private Commercial Mortgage Loans.
    • Be the custodian of analytics (by ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper governance).
    • Work with analytics & modeling teams to ensure new models meet business requirements and comply with our data quality policy.
    • Design data quality checks and performance metrics to evaluate data integrity, identify deficiencies, and pinpoint opportunities for analytics model and platform improvements.
    • Conduct large scale testing and provide essential results and insights to support the implementation and adoption of Aladdin’s quantitative financial models and analytics by users and businesses.
    • Provide analytical data and platform expertise to address dynamic business requirements, market developments, regulatory modifications, and newly introduced financial products.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new analytics and business solutions. Address complex analytical questions with expertise in models and analytics.

    Experience:

    Candidates must have a proven history of addressing challenging real-world issues in investment and risk management sectors. The individual will be required to utilize their advanced quantitative abilities to oversee intricate performance analytics initiatives aimed at enhancing the analytics platform.

    ● 3+ years of experience in capital market, investments, or financial technology industry, managing investment, risk, and/or performance analytics from modeling, data, or services perspective

    ● Track record of working with financial markets, investment and risk analytics, and data management functions

    ● Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives, with strong communication skills and project management ability

    ● Aladdin experiences from capital market, financial services firms, a plus

    ● Experience working within Agile project management frameworks is a plus (including tooling such as Azure DevOps)

    Qualification:

    ● Degree in finance, engineering, mathematics, quantitative or related discipline. Bachelor’s degree is required. Advance degree preferred.

The Equity Trading team in San Francisco is part of the Global Trading group within BlackRock Global Markets (BGM) and is responsible for executing equity and equity derivative orders in the Americas.This includes substantial volumes of cash equities, CFDs, listed and OTC derivatives.

The team supports a range of internal investment teams and products, including index funds, iShares,systematic active, and transition management. Members of the team collaborate with BlackRock portfolio managers, strategists, researchers, and other stakeholders to formulate trade strategies, deliver platform solutions and execution.

The Digital Solutions team is responsible for the strategy and execution of many of the firm’s enterprise productivity and collaboration technology solutions including Microsoft 365, Box, Airtable, Miro, NetDocuments, and other SaaS technologies. The team is central to BlackRock’s Microsoft 365 enablement and adoption program, improving the employee digital experience as a result. The Digital Solutions team has three verticals: Productivity, Collaboration and Business Solutions, and aligns it to the Digital Workplace Solutions chapter.

 

Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, Productivity Solutions leads the product strategy and lifecycle management for enterprise productivity platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online and Outlook, DocuSign, and Miro. As Head of Productivity Solutions, you will be responsible for managing and executing the vision of these products, ensuring they align with firm-wide governance standards and deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric digital experiences.

You will oversee a team of product owners and analysts, collaborate with engineering and operations, and partner with business stakeholders to drive adoption, streamline workflows, and modernize legacy processes. The US Direct Channel is one of the fastest growing distribution channels within BlackRock’s US distribution network, catalysed by growing market participation from self-directed and online investors. To ensure that BlackRock is well positioned to capture this demand, we are growing our business development team for the Direct channel in the Americas, intending to grow BlackRock’s partnerships with online brokers, robo-advisors, bank led digital platforms, fintechs, and other emerging consumer digital wealth firms across the US and Canada. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this positions’ primary function is to work alongside and in support of the business development lead. The Assoc/VP will support, establish, build, and cultivate our key relationships with digital investing platforms, positioning BlackRock as a valued commercial and strategic partner.
