This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

We are hiring for an Enterprise Risk Manager to join our Risk & Controls function at Booking Holdings (“BHI”). This role will be responsible for assisting with the facilitation of risk management activities at BHI and enabling effective risk management practices that are aligned with the BHI functional leads.

This role will represent a primary point of contact for the BHI enterprise risk management program, support stakeholders across all departments, and be responsible for helping those teams effectively identify and manage risk.

In this role you will get to:

  • Assist with leading BHI’s enterprise risk management maturation journey, including implementation and sustainability of an integrated, scalable Program
  • Advance an integrated, common risk management framework, along with the language and tools to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to proactively and effectively identify and manage existing, new & emerging risks
  • Serve in a risk advisory capacity for internal stakeholders to strategize and develop effective solutions to mitigate & manage risks
  • Develop and deploy an ongoing series of communication initiatives to ensure reiteration of the organization’s standards, best practices, and values as it relates to risk management
  • Design, manage, and facilitate continuous and comprehensive training and education initiatives, to ensure employees are both informed and calibrated on the subject matter of risk management

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Extensive background and experience with risk management, compliance, and internal audit at a public company
  • Experience in supporting the development, implementation, and maturation of risk management frameworks, including the development of risk management strategies, risk frameworks, quantification methods, etc
  • Strong knowledge of COSO, ISO, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, risk and controls standards, business, and IT process best practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to articulate technical risk management concepts clearly in a manner that is both digestible and accessible for end-users
  • Extraordinary collaboration capabilities, including the ability to develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders from diverse areas of the business

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $144,000-$176,000.

Global Communications Specialist

Booking Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Global Communications team. The successful candidate will partner with the team to support the execution of earned media, social media, and internal communications initiatives and events as part of the global communications strategy. The successful candidate should have good media relations skills and relationships, particularly across U.S. and global technology, business, and trade media, experience developing social media content and managing social channels for leading corporate organizations, be proficient in drafting impactful messaging and copy for different audiences, be able to effectively manage suppliers, and must be highly organized, motivated and goal-oriented. They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced high-tech organization, demonstrate a sound understanding of brand visual and copywriting guidelines, enjoy reporting and analysis, and be proactive with respect to attention to detail and driving results. This person has the opportunity to have an impact in driving critical initiatives within the Global Communications organization and will be a contributor to the success of the Communications functions. The Communications Specialist, Global Communications will report to the Senior Manager, Global Communications, and support key members of the Global Communications teams.

In this role you will get to:

  • Build and maintain good relationships with key media, pitching and securing interviews, managing inbound requests, and contributing to achieving team coverage targets.
  • Partner with the Global Communications team and other key business stakeholders (including People, Sustainability, DEI, and Recruitment Marketing teams) to organize, draft, and assist in the preparation of deliverables including press releases, pitch copy, social copy, key messaging, reactive statements, Corporate website updates, newsletters and company award entries.
  • Collaborate with Communications teams across Booking Holdings’ Brands and agency partners to produce regular communications reports, including Board of Directors summaries, quarterly, end-of-year, and ad hoc reporting updates and analysis to inform stakeholders and shape strategy.
  • Work alongside other team members in the development and execution of internal and external events (hybrid and in-person), including Town Halls, all-employee videos, department Summits, media roundtables, and exploration of new formats and channels.
  • Co-manages external relationships with agency partners, production partners, designers, and suppliers.
  • Spot trends and insights in order to recommend and mobilize timely activations and content, and mitigate risks where relevant.
  • Work with the Communications teams across Booking Holdings’ brands to review material and ensure disclosure alignment, understand specific brand needs as well as help identify and enhance opportunities to improve the scale, results, and effectiveness of the cross-company Communications network.

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required along with 4-5 years of progressive communications experience e.g. media relations, communications campaign management, social media management (including X, LinkedIn, and YouTube,) etc
  • People-oriented; strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, and able to engage with people across all levels, and from diverse backgrounds.
  • High proficiency in writing for different audiences, internally and externally
  • Solid understanding of business operations and financial communications, in addition to relevance in consumer media and social media
  • Highly organized with excellent planning skills. You take ownership and proactively solve problems, often before it reaches your manager
  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail, ability to adapt to daily schedules and routines, and focus on efficiency without sacrificing quality
  • Prior experience in corporate and global communications, ideally within an in-house or agency setting, along with knowledge of the e-commerce and/or travel industries
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to track and manage action items and hit deadlines
  • Strong technology skills required, including experience with AI tools for research, ideation, writing, and visual creation, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Gmail, and Google Docs, and familiarity with communication platforms like Slack, Zoom, and BlueJeans
  • Demonstrates strong independence, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, while responsibly managing highly confidential, time-sensitive information with advanced time management and analytical abilities
  • Available to offer support outside of normal business hours, or travel, as required


Senior Privacy & Cybersecurity Counsel

Reporting to the Booking Holdings Chief Privacy Officer, the Senior Privacy & Cybersecurity Counsel, the Deputy Chief Privacy Officer provides expert legal guidance on privacy and cybersecurity matters. This role drives strategy, compliance, and incident management across Booking Holdings and its brands globally, while maturing privacy and cybersecurity frameworks. Responsibilities include advising on vendor contracts, regulatory developments, and aligning policies to support business objectives.

In this role you will get to:

  • Privacy and Cybersecurity Legal Counsel: Provide expert advice on global privacy laws, cybersecurity regulations, and compliance strategies to align with business priorities. Support incident response, including regulatory notifications and stakeholder communications. Counsel on privacy and cybersecurity aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-integration. Develop and oversee incident response policies and procedures.
  • Regulatory and Program Development: Monitor and assess global regulatory developments to shape compliance strategies for U.S. and international data privacy, personal information, and cybersecurity standards. Coordinate multi-jurisdictional regulatory assessments with regional counsel. Lead the creation and maintenance of privacy notices, internal policies, incident playbooks, and other program materials.
  • Contracts and Risk Management: Negotiate vendor and third-party contracts, ensuring strong data protection terms. Provide expertise on privacy-by-design, privacy impact assessments, and data protection reviews. Support compliance with public disclosure requirements, including SEC filings and other regulatory obligations.
  • Leadership and Governance: Act as a trusted advisor to brand privacy leaders, procurement teams, marketing, and business stakeholders. Foster cross-functional collaboration to integrate privacy and cybersecurity considerations into business processes and technology initiatives. Partner with business leaders to align privacy and cybersecurity efforts with organizational objectives.

What you have:

  • JD with a minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience in law firms, governmental agencies, or in-house legal departments. In-house experience at a multinational, consumer-facing technology company is strongly preferred.
  • CIPP/US or CIPP/E preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of global privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Proven experience in privacy impact assessments, cybersecurity incident response management, and commercial contract negotiations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Experience managing data protection operations, protecting data subject rights, and enabling data-driven business outcomes.
