Rotational Analyst (CCL)

Overview:

Ready to explore the business behind unforgettable vacations? The Leadership Development Program is a full-time rotational program located in Carnival Cruise Line’s Miami, FL headquarters designed to provide selected candidates with an in-depth experience rotating across three areas of our business over a total of 18 months. Selected candidates will sharpen their analytical and project skills while gaining real world experience in the cruise line industry.  The goal of the program is to fast-track individuals into a successful career at Carnival Cruise Line with the knowledge and professional insight gained through this unique experience. Upon successful completion of the program, analysts transition into full-time opportunities at Carnival based on the experiences gained over the 18 months.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Graduation Date: December 2025 or May 2026 preferred (or within 1 year of graduation).
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related fields from an accredited institution. Open to all majors with relevant experience.
  • GPA: Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Internship Experience: 1–2 professional internships demonstrating:
  • Analytical project work and strategic planning or project management.

Sustainability Manager

The Carnival Corporation Sustainability Manager supports the development and implementation of the company’s sustainability strategy by overseeing, supporting and tracking initiatives related to its goals and aspirations across all company brands and the ports the organization owns and operates.  In addition, the manager will also be part of the team responsible for preparing the organizations sustainability report and other environmental, social governance (ESG)s disclosures through various digital platforms. The position will directly engage with internal sustainability stakeholders, non-governmental organizations, and ESG rating agencies among other stakeholders.  The position will also provide regular data submissions to rating agencies and other stakeholders and work with Carnival’s brands and third parties to define, measure and track sustainability key performance indicators aligned with the company’s six sustainability focus areas.  The position will also regularly engage with working groups across the business to drive positive change aligned with the company’s sustainability goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop content for the annual sustainability report and other ESG related disclosures.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define, measure and track sustainability programs and key performance indicators aligned with the company’s sustainability goals (with an emphasis on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Biodiversity / Conservation and Circular Economy)

Manager, Risk Advisory and Assurance Services

Risk Advisory and Assurance Services (RAAS) is a diverse global team, recognized by the Audit Committee and senior management as their partner for providing advisory and assurance services on the company’s most significant strategic, financial, operational, technology and compliance risks. Manager, RAAS is responsible for 1) performing end to end reviews of key business processes and controls to provide an independent assessment of their design and effectiveness and communicate results and observations to senior levels of management, 2) ensuring audit work fulfills the purposes and responsibilities established in the department, 3) ensuring resources are efficiently and effectively employed; and 4) ensuring audit work conforms to the IIA Framework of Professional Standards.

Essential Functions:

Within the scope of assigned operational/financial projects, the below responsibilities should be performed with minimal guidance:

  • Manage, supervise and/or perform reviews and evaluations of any and all operations and activities to assess:  A) The reliability and integrity of internal controls over financial reporting, including authorization of transactions and safeguarding of assets. B) Compliance with policies, laws, and regulations which could have significant impact upon operations.  C) The effectiveness and efficiency of operationsDevelop the planning and scoping for complex reviews to ensure appropriate audit coverage.
  • Perform walkthroughs to develop understanding of complex processes & controls, identify areas of risk and develop tests accordingly.
  • Perform testing, data analysis and benchmarking, as appropriate, to assess controls.
  • Identify issues/opportunities to improve operations and the related root cause and impact.
  • Conclude on the adequacy of management’s processes and internal controls to mitigate risk.
  • Prepare succinct, accurate, and compelling reporting to effectively communicate audit results.
  • Lead effective meetings and present to senior management on issue/opportunities identified.
  • Partner with management to develop appropriate action plans impacting tactical and strategic changes to the organization.

Public Health Operations Manager

The Public Health Operations Manager is responsible for the management of the brand public health programs and practices that protect the shipboard population from environmental and communicable disease health risks. This role actively responds and coordinates activities with shipboard and shoreside Public Health and brand operational teams to promote a strong public health culture and operational compliance to high public health standards. They monitor and coordinate the agile response to public health events including disease outbreaks. They are responsible for managing public health programs through the active hiring, evaluation and training of shipboard public health officers. They analyze public health inspection reports for trends and recommend program enhancements to continuously improve operational excellence and compliance.

Essential Functions:

    • Operational Support
      • Manages the Fleet Public Health Officers (FPHO), and shipboard Public Health Officers (PHO) to evaluate and support the rapid resolution of compliance and operational issues.
      • Conducts routine meetings with the FPHOs, PHOs and brand stakeholders to coordinate activities, identify fleet and ship specific issues and develop a time sensitive response plan.
      • Analyses data to identify brand, ship, department, rank and individual training needs and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver targeted training.
      • Supports the Epidemiologist in responding to public health threats including disease outbreak prevention and response.
      • Actively engages with the brand operational teams to plan and anticipate additional support requirements and establish contingency plans.       Ensures consistent application of policies and procedures through audits, training, feedback and ongoing technical evaluation.
      • Assists in the development of brand-specific public health programs that are supported by current evidence-based public health practices.
    • Compliance & Continuous Quality Improvement
      • Develops and reviews program and inspection performance metrics to evaluate operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
      • Ensures shipboard environmental health inspection programs are flexible and targeted to identify public health risks.
      • Promotes a strong shipboard public health culture to drive high public health standards and inspection performance.
      • Manages shipboard corrective action plans to ensure timely completion of findings and maintain program and policy compliance. Collaborates with brand operational teams and stakeholders to build engagement and ownership of resolving corrective actions.
      • Develops and reports the analysis of public health inspection results, ship condition, and status of the vessel to brand operational teams and stakeholders.
      • Maintains awareness of relevant local, national, and international public health standards, and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s degree in public health, environmental health, the biological sciences or equivalent field.  Master’s degree preferred.
      • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in environmental or public health with 2 years managing public health programs/operations.  Previous experience working in a public health agency, health sciences, health administration, corporate environment directing public health, or in a closely related field required.
      • Certification as a registered environmental health specialist (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Manager Strategic Sourcing

The Manager – Strategic Sourcing will be a key part of the strategic sourcing and supply chain processes for Global Gaming and On Board Media across all Carnival Corporation & plc.

Working closely with the reporting Director and business stakeholders, this individual will play an integral part in identifying, developing, and executing strategic sourcing initiatives for these categories.

The Manager – Strategic Sourcing will work with suppliers as well as each cruise line on board media professionals and with the Global Casino Operations team members. This role is responsible for leading sourcing projects from cradle to grave: Developing sourcing strategies aligned with business requirements, building effective relationships with functional stakeholders, strategically sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers, developing supplier performance assessment foundation.Further, the Manager – Strategic Sourcing will assist in the identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements in the sourcing and supply chain process for these categories, or in others as necessary.

Job Functions:

Strategic Sourcing – Global Gaming and On Board Media

  • Work with Corporate Leadership to develop the sourcing and procurement strategies for on board media and global gaming, aligning with company-wide goals and objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to effectively leverage scale, simplify the supplier base, reduce total cost of ownership, improve guest and crew satisfaction.Manage differing interests towards a holistic solution which will benefit the organization as a whole.
  • Execute category strategies following Carnival’s strategic sourcing processes.
  • Provide a significant positive financial impact by optimizing commercial terms through negotiations.
  • Help improve tactical procurement processes to improve efficiency of transactional work with suppliers.
  • Leverage market and supplier risk analysis (e.g.market drivers, macroeconomic conditions, etc.)to anticipate its impact across the business and work with leadership to develop associated strategies and action plans to maximize the opportunity.
  • Delivers results to Performance Goals including but not limited to hard savings, cost avoidance, supplier diversity and sustainability.

Analytics & Reporting – Global Gaming and On Board Media

  • Acting as a financial steward, spearhead and manage projects to reduce total cost of ownership while meeting financial business goals and objectives (e.g., costs, service, quality, policies, supply & risk mitigation).
  • Participate in the development of business analytics and reporting including creating KPI reporting, analysis and communication with leadership.
  • Utilize business data and AI to identify sourcing opportunities, then create action plans and implement sourcing projects.
  • Utilize data to analyze results and quantify savings.

Process Efficiencies – Global Gaming and On Board Media

  • Use continuous improvement principles to drive process efficiency by minimizing transactional work and issue reoccurrence.

Relationship Management – Suppliers and Stakeholders of Global Gaming and On Board Media

  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders by meeting with them regularly to gain detailed knowledge of their needs and leverage points for each area.Further, stay abreast of key business strategies, annual goals/objectives, economic challenges / opportunities, current trends, requirements, changes, etc.
  • Follow a heightened service excellence approach to exceed on customers’ expectations.
  • Build and maintain trusting working relationships by permanently assessing on needs and delivering upon those.
  • Perform project management duties which will include overseeing and ensuring quality delivery of assigned projects; collect, measure, report and communicate progress with key stakeholders. Further, apply project management concepts to deliver on time commitments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Engineering. Masters degree a plus.
  • CPSM certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing & supply chain
  • Strong experience in sourcing methodologies, strategy creation and execution (e.g., 7-Step Strategic Sourcing, Cost).
  • Media experience is a plus
