About the role:

We are looking for an Alterations Specialist who will be responsible for producing high quality, altered merchandise within established time frame standards. They will play a vital role in providing excellent service, while establishing and maintaining customer relationships, and working effectively with the associates and management team in the boutique. CHANEL requires specific skills for its alterations work due to the intricacy of the material used.  Specifically, the chains that are often in our product, the substantial tweeds and delicate silks used etc that require a high organization and strong attention to detail to ensure that all projects are executed accurately and efficiently. The Alterations Specialist will work alongside a diverse and dynamic team and reports to the Operation Manger.

  • Uphold production standards to deliver the ultimate CHANEL experience to the client
  • Properly fit each garment with client(s) with the ability to alter a wide range of garments
  • Organize and maintain client owned pieces in line with CHANEL expectations
  • Ability to interact with clients to suggest styling and fitting advice
  • Maintain a up to date knowledge of the alteration techniques specific to CHANEL, including fabrication and styling of luxury garments
  • Ensuring that sewing machines and other equipment are in proper working order
  • Build positive team relationships throughout the boutique to inspire trust and teamwork
  • Altering or repairing clients’ garments and other articles, which includes hemming, mending, lengthening, as well as taking in and letting out seams
  • Fitting garments on clients to determine how the alterations should be done
  • Constructing garments and other articles according to clients’ specifications and preferences
  • Labeling clients’ garments and articles and recording the alterations required
  • Communicating with clients to determine their specifications, needs, and preferences
  • Using irons and pressing machines to erase the creases on garments and other articles

Position Logistics:

Compensation:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $27.00 through $34.00. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay may be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.

Boutique Facilitator, Palm Beach Gardens

We are looking for a Boutique Facilitator for our Palm Beach Gardens CHANEL Boutique. Someone passionate about providing the highest standards of service and will be trained to be well-rounded in all activities within the Boutique. They will be crucial to the success of the operations within the Boutique. As a multi-functional, “generalist” support role, the Boutique Facilitator assists the sales associates, and the boutique to maximize client-facing time and will support all areas of the Boutique as needed.

 

  • Deliver exceptional customer service based on CHANEL’s service mantra, including welcoming and greeting all clients, including hosting
  • Be the ultimate brand ambassador by providing continuous sales and service support
  • Support the Operations team in maintaining the incoming and outgoing shipments processes, assisting with inventory cycle counts and daily re-ticketing

Associate, Visual Merchandising, Bal Harbour

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the brand image in the Boutique, elevating the client experience and facilitating the selling process. They will report directly to the Boutique Director with a dotted line to the Regional Visual Merchandising (VM) Manager.

What impact you can create at CHANEL: 

  • Expedite the selling process for Fashion Advisor’s by being readily available to change mannequins, pull and replenish items from selling floor, make substitutions on displays when product is needed for clients, etc.
  • Be the point of contact for the store when VM Lead is on other projects, during corporate holidays and on weekends
  • Support Operations team with product prep work for floor moves and collection launches, including P Touching display items
  • Update digital photo files for VM maintenance purposes as changes are made
  • Keep documentation of window items current (SKU, price, size, etc.) for selling team’s reference
  • Assist in implementation of events, Sale, seasonal installs, corporate events and other business driving initiatives in the Boutique

Fashion Advisor

We are looking for a Fashion Advisor with a passion for client service and an expertise in fashion. The Fashion Advisor will play a crucial role of consistently providing a superior level of service to clients, while increasing client conversion and retention, to drive business revenue, and inspire brand loyalty.  The Fashion Advisor will work alongside a diverse sales-team, and report to the Boutique’s leadership.
