Who You Are
You will be responsible for all sales of Cisco Security solutions and services. You will forge and grow new relationships within the customer and partner base via both direct and indirect touch to drive significant revenue growth while ensuring internal alignment. You have a proven and quantifiable record of over-achievement. You can manage large deals and execute account and partner plans across geographic territories. You can build and complete an account plan that incorporates a total systems-based security approach.
You are adept at presenting to a largely technical audience and have experience applying solution-selling methodologies to increase corporate revenue growth. You also have a successful track record of closing both tactical and strategic opportunities.
Minimum qualifications include:
• 6+ years of overall sales experience with at least 2 years selling Security solutions
• Direct touch sales combined with experience working in a matrixed organization and working with partners to improve results
• Experience selling network security (Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN, and related technologies) or SaaS security offers
• A good all-round knowledge of the Security Market
Preferred qualifications:
• BS/BA or equivalent is highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Proactive with the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment
• High level of attention to detail, able to demonstrate competence in building and driving a large geographic plan across multiple accounts

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

Market Access APJC Leader

Introduction: Join Cisco’s Acceleration Center (AC) as Head of Market Access APJC, where you will play a pivotal role in driving Cisco’s Market Access strategy across the APJC region. This is an opportunity to partner with Executive Leadership, General Managers, and functional leaders to craft and implement strategic initiatives that enable Cisco to offer its products to all customer segments in all geographic markets, with a focus on public sector and regulated markets.

Software Engineer Embedded Systems- C/C++/embedded/ 2C, PCIe, SPI, MDIO/2+ years/Bangalore)

You will be part of the platform engineering team of CHG (Common Hardware group). Work with a team that has designed the world’s most scalable routers…for some of the largest Service Providers. You work on bring up and hardware diagnostics based validation for router hardware (access & core routers). The router Hardware that has a rich set of network interfaces OTN/SONET/SDH/GiGe and forwarding ASICs that provide high throughput. You will work closely with the hardware engineers to understand the design of the next generation hardware.

What You’ll Do

You will come up with the diagnostics design to validate the hardware and be the first one to bring up the hardware when it comes from the manufacturing facility. You will have to come up with Validation strategy for each interface to catch all the HW design issues early during the development cycle to ensure that customers get a confirmed hardware design to run their network.

You will need to dive deep into platform/network interfaces/hardware bus technologies while debugging issues and also work at a system level when bringing up a board. You will write code in C for device initialization and test code that will validate the hardware design. Manufacturing teams use our code for hardware validation, detecting and isolating faults. Work with the Signal integrity teams to measure and validate the jitter on high speed interfaces. Thermal teams use the Diagnostics software for thermal validation too.

There is also opportunity to work on optimizing test algorithms, and influencing hardware design for testability as well.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in Diagnostics software development for router hardware/hardware validation.
  • Alternatively 3+ years of experience in Platform/firmware/Device driver development for router hardware in C.
  • Excellent C programming skills
  • Excellent skills in debugging low level platform/driver/diagnostics/HW issues
  • Preferably, has worked closely with H/w engineering teams in the development & debug of platform/device driver/diagnostics/hardware issues.
  • Works independently with minimal direction.
  • Experience with Linux OS/device drivers/firmware.
  • Experience in working with drivers/diagnostics for various network interfaces like OTN/SONET/SDH/DS3/GiGE/T1/E1 and L2/L3 forwarding engines/ASICs
