Commodities Product Manager – Assistant Vice President – HOUSTON (Hybrid)

Product developer responsible for coordination amongst front office teams working on new business development initiatives. Creates a product vision aligned to business priorities and corresponding roadmap to delivery.

Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Responsibilities:

  • The Product Developer is responsible for all activities related to the development of new products and/or features and functionality of products including developing business cases, requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancements innovation, feature and functionality definition based on market and industry research and trends and client needs. This role manages the end-to-end product development lifecycle and will also scope product releases, agreeing to and tracking business priorities, incorporating regulatory and compliance requirements and investment tracking

Full Time Head Universal Banker – Boyle Heights Branch

The Head Universal Banker is responsible for providing exceptional service delivery to our internal and external customers in coordination with the Branch team. The overall objective is to effectively execute all service transactions (e.g. deposits, payments, address changes, replacement card orders, disputes, etc.) and sales (including opening accounts, credit cards, etc.) referral routines to deepen client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibits strong sales and service skills, presenting products and services while proactively educating clients on utilizing available access channels  (ex: ATM, Online, Mobile, etc.)
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the branch and remain flexible in position based on branch coverage needs.
  • Continuously learns new and existing products through sales aids (features, benefits, fees, etc.) demonstrating positive, can-do attitude and customer first culture.
  • Provide exceptional service delivery to our internal and external customers to resolve account service issues and respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Is knowledgeable about the client’s accounts and business with the bank and uses sound judgment with customers and transactions
  • Energetically greet and interact with clients on the bank floor to proactively identify and address client sales and service needs; appropriately convert service requests into sales or referrals

Legal Senior Group Manager – USPB Mortgage – Director

The Legal Senior Group Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team within the Legal Function. The overall objective of this role is to provide legal support, advice, and guidance regarding the originations process of the Mortgage Business.

This role requires thorough understanding of the strategic direction of the originations process of the Mortgage Business, combined with knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations for the geographies in which we operate. Provides input into strategic decisions, exercising sound legal judgement to develop proactive, risk-appropriate and commercially practical business-oriented solutions. Full management responsibility of a team, including management of people and planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing legal counsel regarding the originations process of the Mortgage Business, supporting strategic initiatives, providing subject matter expertise and interpretations of relevant laws, rules, regulations, and industry practices, and advising business management/leadership on all manner of legal matters and risks impacting the business
  • Manages a diverse team by providing guidance for mortgage originations, evaluating employee performance, and providing compensation recommendations, promotions, and support on personnel-related matters
  • Provides advisory services in respect of business decisions by applying institutional knowledge against industry standards, widely accepted business practices, laws, rules, and regulatory guidelines, escalating where appropriate

  • Proven ability to apply sound judgement while managing multiple assignments simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multi-jurisdictional laws, regulations and practices while staying abreast of regulatory and legal environment, internal policies and industry trends that impact the business
