We are currently seeking Technicians to join our manufacturing team in a Quality Assurance role. You’ll be responsible for quality testing of ingredients and finished products to ensure product and package integrity in accordance with standard operating procedures. We’re seeking team-oriented individuals who have a keen eye for the details and have a passion for ensuring the quality of their work.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Perform collection, documentation, and destruction of samples, along with physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of finished products and raw materials. Communicate effectively and thoroughly to management and peers on test results or inspection findings outside of specifications.
- Conduct environmental sampling and analysis to monitor facility sanitation.
- Conduct all laboratory testing with accuracy and integrity and ensures that it is accomplished in compliance with all federal, state, and company policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate, complete, and legible records. Properly amend, identify, and file records, along with conducting clerical duties including copying, filing, faxing, data entry, and document reproduction.
- Safely handle/use chemicals, biological agents, and waste. Potentially including hazardous materials. Read, understand, and maintain material safety data sheets.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on process equipment and monthly audits on various areas under laboratory control.
- Complete work orders to ensure proper maintenance, verification, calibrations are completed in a timely manner in accord with company, federal and state requirements
- Utilize software including word processing, spreadsheets, and inventory control systems.
- Set-up and calibrate test equipment.
- Monitor all quality checks made by production.
- Keep accurate Q.A. reports daily.
- Operate and perform quality tests on the treated water system.
Qualification & Requirements
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, Associate degree, or technical college degree.
- 1+ years’ experience in quality testing or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be able to maintain a strong level of confidentiality – all formulas are confidential.
- Solid math skills are required along with basic reading and writing skills.
- Must successfully pass Aon (behavioral/personality test) assessment test.
- Ability to demonstrate capability of learning or using basic lab’s equipment such as: Refractometer, pH meter, Auto titrator, Density Meter, Turbidity Meter.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under stressful situations.
- Comply with all Safety, Environmental, Security, and Good Manufacturing Practice policies.

Pay Range:
$55,242 – $74,739

Freight Settlement Consultant
As a vital part of the Supply Chain Services and Digital Transformation team, the Freight Settlement Consultant will help lead the digital transformation of our freight invoicing and payment. An individual contributor that will support and collaborate with Global Logistics Service (GLS), CPS plants, Global IT, and key 3PLs. Your primary focus will be on strengthening process discipline, user engagement, and change management to drive improvements in the global supply chain.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee freight settlement activities across 9 CPS plants.
- Support freight settlement in the areas of dispute resolution, audit compliance and payment terms adherence.
- Perform regular audits of lane and rate master data to proactively avoid settlement disputes
- Evaluate and verify contracts, tariffs, and other service-related agreements to ensure compliance with freight settlement processes.
- Collaborate with operational teams to clarify any discrepancies in freight invoices and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track freight costs, documenting all data accurately for an efficient settlement process.
- Assist in audits and investigations related to freight charges, providing necessary documentation and data as required.
- Support disputes related to freight settlements, liaising with operations, vendors and suppliers to resolve any conflicts.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy in freight settlement processes.
- Maintain constant communication with the accounts payable and receivable departments, ensuring all freight payments and bills are settled on schedule.
Education Requirements & Related Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain/Finance is preferred

Freestyle Automated Warehouse Operator- 1st Shift

What You’ll Do for Us
- Follows manufacturing procedures and guidelines to conduct a variety of tasks which are part of the production process, which can include loading materials into production machines; removing packs and sorting raw materials or finished products.
- Collects and disposes of garbage and production waste; cleans production equipment and work areas.
- Accountable for the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of equipment, including mechanical and programmable controls, as well as completing the necessary filler, conveyor and palletizer adjustments for changeovers.
- Visually inspect all incoming materials and outgoing products and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Perform and evaluate package integrity tests
- Assist forklift drivers with lower level problems with pallets, slip sheets, and/or stretch wrappers
- Identify non-conforming product, such as poorly glued boxes, improper codes and/or labels
- Identify and report product or machine problems to production, maintenance, and/or warehouse personnel using plant intercoms and or 2-Way radios

Qualifications & Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to understand and communicate instructions in English with experience in a manufacturing/food production environment.
- A demonstrated ability to exceed performance expectations, especially in categories of attendance, safety, and teamwork is required.
- Must be familiar with and able to run automated equipment, including fillers and palletizers and operating casing equipment
- Must have a high mechanical aptitude to be able to sequence equipment for proper start-up and shutdown, understanding machinery and conveyor controls.
- The ability to do repetitive stooping, lifting 50 pounds, bending, and standing while operating equipment is required.
- Must possess a valid forklift license and be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Must be able to work an eight (8) hour shift with overtime and or extended hours as required and work any shift as directed

Warehouse Operator
Basic Function:
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for:
- Ingredient, packaging materials, supplies, and equipment receipt
- Material transfer and warehouse management/maintenance
- Finished product shipment to the North America Consolidated Warehouses
Essential Functions:
- Operates forklift to move freight into and out of the warehouse.
- Loads and unloads freight and assists in the control of storage areas for packaging materials, ingredients, and finished product, etc.… and may schedule freight movements in cooperation with immediate team leaders and/or production team leaders.
- Assists with other shipping personnel and Plant Quality Assurance to handle, sample and make proper disposition of all excess/rejected ingredients.
- Verifies the accuracy and availability of all documents on incoming shipments. Check incoming materials for quantity and condition.
- Ensures that correct security procedures are observed in handling of packaging materials, ingredients, finished product, shipments, paperwork and general freight movement into and out of the warehouse.
- Properly prepares shipments, loads vehicles, and prepares necessary documentation for all shipments.
- Assists in inventory control procedures (e.g. cycle counting) for all packaging materials, ingredients, and finished product.
- Interacts with representatives of common carriers and railroads.
- Assists with ingredient sampling.
- Familiarizes themselves with Company and Plant policies concerning traffic procedures, security, reports, etc.…, and with applicable Federal and industry regulations concerning freight shipments.
- Performs other duties related to GMP, shipping, receiving, minor maintenance, or other duties as required by the supervisor.
