Safety, Environmental and Security Specialist
As an SES Specialist, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of required safety, health, environmental, sustainability and related management system programs and processes.
Position Related Duties and Key Functions
- Champion Safety, Sustainability, Governance and Environmental efforts within the facility.
- Facilitate Risk Assessment Process (FMEA, Health & Safety Risks, Environmental Aspects and Impacts) to mitigate risks.
- Conduct or respond to health and safety assessments/analyses in plant to minimize health and safety risks.
- Support the administration of the PSM program to ensure compliance with all PSM requirements and participate in best practice strategy implementation and development.
- Support design and delivery of SES procedures and management system related training modules at five levels: New Hire Orientation, Annual Review, Specialty, Contractor, and Management Support implementation strategies, implement, evaluate and/or certify effective implementation of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and OSHA VPP programs and standards.
- Maintain medical response program and emergency response organization.
- Assist with SES inspections, audits, and documentation as needed.
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports and audit results, as assigned using statistical analysis.
- Coordinate and communicate findings of internal and external audits to management staff and ensure items of non-conformance are addressed and corrected according to schedule. Effectively translate safety and sustainability goals and objectives to other parts of the organization ensuring alignment on relevant performance data.
- Routinely review safety and sustainability results with plant personnel to maximize facility performance.
- Foster an environment that supports an engaged safety and sustainability culture.
- Seek, share, and adopt ideas and best practices in and outside the Company and embrace change introduced by others.
- Support facility compliance with good environmental practices, applicable Safety regulations and be an ambassador of Safety.
- Ability to demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Word.
- Able to understand and follow directions and react under changing conditions.
- Able to demonstrate good work ethic and able to work on all shifts, as required.
- Able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts with extended/overtime hours, as needed, to satisfy business needs.
- Must be certified on the training plan for this position within six months of start date.
- Actively engage with associates and team leads with observations, inspections, GEMBA walks, corrective actions; Lead Gemba events and work on root cause analysis.
- Effectively utilize basic technical math skills, basic grammar, and technical writing skills.
- Work with Maintenance Department to track completion of safety work orders.
- Attend SES Committee Meetings.
- Demonstrated ability and qualified to facilitate team-based problem-solving on the production floor using advanced Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation and 5 Why methodology.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
- BS degree in Environmental sciences, Occupational Safety or Engineering or equivalent experience in large manufacturing plants.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
- Knowledge of technical practices and programs used in the reduction of workplace hazards.
- Knowledge of worker safety regulations as they relate to manufacturing, general industry.
- Ability to implement effective management systems (ISO 14001, 18001, VPP Star).

Working Conditions
- Work is performed in office, production, and outside areas.
- Position requires periodic work near high-speed bottling, Beverage blending and pasteurizing, Ammonia refrigeration equipment, industrial wastewater facilities and/or warehouse environments.
- Physical agility including climbing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and lifting minimum of 50 lbs.
- Shift assignment is yet to be finalized but might include night shift duties. Flexible work hours covering all shifts and extended hours, when necessary.
- Work requires exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, working around moving equipment, tanks, heights, wet conditions, chemicals, vapors, vibrations, dust, etc.

The Advisor, Account Coordination is the main point of contact for our customer installations and works closely with our national service teams to provide first-level support for our Foodservice customers for planned equipment service needs, miscellaneous sales, and operations activities. What You’ll Do for Us
- Serve as a primary contact and act as a Company Ambassador by accurately diagnosing service issues and business requested needs, adopting various programs implemented and approved by The Coca-Cola bottling system through CPACT (Customer Program Approval & Communication Tool).

What You’ll Do for Us
- Follows manufacturing procedures and guidelines to conduct a variety of tasks which are part of the production process, which can include loading materials into production machines; removing packs and sorting raw materials or finished products.
- Collects and disposes of garbage and production waste; cleans production equipment and work areas.
- Accountable for the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of equipment, including mechanical and programmable controls, as well as completing the necessary filler, conveyor and palletizer adjustments for changeovers.
- Visually inspect all incoming materials and outgoing products and make minor adjustments as needed.
