Account Manager –  Food

We’re looking for an Account Manager within our successful subsidiary located in Amsterdam (Weesp), the Netherlands.

The focus of the Account Manager is to build strong partnerships with the retailers to ensure a mutually profitable business. Furthermore the Account Manager is responsible for delivering market shares, sales and margin at your accounts.

This role will be reporting to the Sr. Account Manager who is responsible for Food in the Netherlands.

What you’ll do 

Customers: e.g. Dirk & Plus

External

  • Be the lead contact for key Superunie members Dirk & Plus
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the customer strategy, their shopper and how Colgate-Palmolive can optimize their brands and strategy within this environment
  • Demonstrate commercial drive to identify issues and opportunities for resolution/optimization and target achievement.
  • Day to day contact with our Food customers
  • Yearly negotiation

Internal

  • Develop tailored commercial plans & implement them via a Joint Business Planning
  • Work closely and creatively with a cross-functional commercial team (e.g. finance, consumer engagement, category management and logistics) to identify, develop and implement the appropriate business solutions required to drive the business forward

Whoa, this is totally me

  • 2-5 years experience in account management or marketing within a FMCG company.
  • An optimist in action;
  • Fluent in Dutch English
  • Hands-on “can do” approach, with willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • A Bachelor or Master degree
  • Good knowledge & understanding of the FMCG industry and Dutch Retail
  • Passionate about brands and shopper behavior
  • Team player (easily develops relationship with customers and colleagues in other functions) with a winner mentality focused on delivering results
  • Strong analytical skills, accurate, curious and pragmatic

Brand Manager

Required:

 

  • MBA in Marketing and Sales from a tier-1 B-school
  • 4+ years of overall post-MBA experience, preferably in FMCG
  • Atleast 2years of experience in field sales
  • Strong business acumen and data and analytics skills

Customer Development Manager – Istanbul, Kocaeli and/or Bursa

As the Customer Development Manager – Indirect Trade (IDT), you are responsible for achieving sustainable growth in sales, profitability, market share and production distribution. You will play a key role in strengthening organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

 

Essential Functions :

  • Responsible for developing and supporting the partnership between Colgate and the Distributors at the store and regional level to achieve sales targets
  • Conduct negotiations on new product listing, planograms, displays, promotion execution etc at regional and/or store level
  • Work with SDM to develop tools, merchandising materials and in-store programs for effective shelf management to induce shoppers to purchase Colgate products at shelf
  • Clearly communicate in-store objective and monitor execution of 5P targets: product availability, assortment by store format, shelf pricing (regular and promoted), promotion implementation vs. plan, share of shelf and planogram, POP placement vs. plan
  • Monitor compliance of 5P activity execution against established agreement/objectives and tracks interim performance of 5P activities to identify shortfalls. potential upsides against established objectives
  • Conduct rigorous pre-evaluation of 5P activities using what-if analysis, and draws upon other team resources as required (eg., input from Financial Services Manager/ Customer Logistics Services Manager)
  • Conduct post-evaluation analysis based on activity details and compares results with pre-evaluation analysis, explaining any potential differences
  • Managing and monitoring distributors inventories and stock availability
  • Performs other duties as assigned with key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all CP policies and standards

Required Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3 years of Distributor Management experience in the FMCG industry
  • Fluent in English and Turkish

Associate Analyst / Analyst – Finance, Accounts Payable

Responsibilities –

  • Review, verify & post PO/NPO invoices (3rd Party/Inter-company)
  • Check business requests for invoice processing, payment processing
  • Ensure the correct rate of Tax (GST/TDS) has been applied.
  • Perform vendor account reconciliation, resolve the differences and obtain sign offs
  • Generate, analyze and clearing  the GRIR report
  • Analyze old vendor balances and clear issues arising thereof
  • Review of debit balances in vendor accounts and resolution of the same
  • Review of open Purchase Orders and highlight exceptions
  • Review, prepare & validate Payment proposal
  • Duplicate invoice checking
  • Ensure adequate controls over the process are maintained
  • Maintain high productivity and accuracy
  • Prepare MIS for Business Engagement meetings
  • Initiate and participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Address level 2 support related supplier/internal customer inquiries
  • Review and timely resolution of all audit queries
  • Prepare and Maintain SOX documentation
  • Prior experience of working on SAP (preferred)
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Suite, MS office
  • Working knowledge of GST provisions and withholding tax.
