Job Summary
Eagle Ford Overview
The liquids-rich Eagle Ford tight oil trend, located in the Western Gulf Coast Basin of south Texas, represents the company’s second-most prolific unconventional resource development. ConocoPhillips was one of the first companies into the liquids play, resulting in a low-cost entry into this acreage. In 2009, the company began exploring the development potential of this play and by year-end 2023 held approximately 199,000 net unconventional leasehold and mineral acres, primarily in DeWitt, Karnes and Live Oak counties.
During 2023, 123 operated wells were brought online, bringing total wells online at year-end to more than 1,700. Net production in 2023 averaged 226 MBOED.
Position Overview
If you are selected as the Mainline – Field Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of designated central facilities including but not limited to monitoring and optimizing production and cost.
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Follows all ConocoPhillips Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Process Safety Management (PSM) rules
- Responsible for starting up and shutting down central facilities under normal conditions as well as under emergency conditions
- Responsible for trouble-shooting operations problems, housekeeping and record keeping
- Monitor central facility performance data through Cygnet
- Gauge tanks for comparison and verification of level indications readings into the control room
- Maintain chemical injection rates as necessary
- Work well with all groups within the Eagle Ford Operations and 3rd party truck hauling partners
- Handover processes and pre-startup safety review (PSSR)/commissioning of new equipment and facilities as needed
- Assist with enforcing proper policies and procedures
- Operating a company-provided vehicle to perform job duties
Basic/Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Current/Valid Driver’s License
- 3 or more years of experience in unconventional field operations
- Beginner knowledge of gas compression principles and practices
- Beginner knowledge of dehydration principles and practices
- Beginner knowledge of gas and liquid measurement
- Beginner knowledge of mechanics and instrumentation
- Currently reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Kenedy, TX
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform/align with following: Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions, Wear appropriate special safety equipment, Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull, Use hand tools to make minor repairs, Work weekends and be on call

Preferred:
- Associate degree and/or trade certificate or higher in Production Technology, Process Technology or other related technical field or foreign equivalent

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The Willow Pipelines Quantity Surveyor reports to the Project Controls Manager- Infrastructure and may be responsible for:
- Preparing a quantity tracking system that incorporates all the different pipeline scopes (pipelines, vertical support members, Horizontal support members, saddles etc.) by location and quantity. The system could be a progress book that will be worked with the Pipeline Construction Engineer for each year.
- Daily Contractor monitoring for construction installation and compile data (quantity installed) including vertical support members, Horizontal support members, Saddles, TVA’s, Pipe installed, Power and fiberoptic and others.
- Review contractor’s progress submittal
- Communicate and work closely with the Willow Construction Team and the Pipeline Construction Engineer.
- Review the Pipeline Contractor’s reported physical progress.
- Assist in verifying contractor’s invoices or parts of the invoices that are based on contractor’s achieved physical progress.
- Communicating to the Project Controls Manager-Infrastructure and the construction team any scope, schedule, or cost risks/opportunities in a timely manner.
- Communicating to the Project Controls Manager-Infrastructure variances from the approved ConocoPhillips Standards and Policies.
- Being a leader in HSE performance by communicating, fostering, supporting, and enforcing the Willow HSE policies, procedures, guidelines, requirements, and objectives.
Basic/Required Qualifications
- Current/valid driver’s license
- Bachelors’ Degree and/or equivalent experience
- Proven management and staff leadership skills
- 7+ years of field experience on major capital projects in construction/Oil Industry Projects, Refinery or Petrochemical environments in assignments of increasing responsibility, complexity and scale.
- 5+ years of Pipeline quantity surveying
- Willing and able to work on a temporary assignment in Anchorage during the off-season (if required)
- High technical competency in the field of quantity surveying.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Project Management or Engineering, or 7+ years of field experience
- Certification(s) in the project management discipline from a recognized organization (Primavera, PMI, AACE etc.).
- Demonstrated interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
- Demonstrated communication skills to influence contractors to implement the Willow Project Management Procedures.
- Knowledge of proprietary computer software systems used for project management, tracking, controlling, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability for development of reports for and presentations to management.

Occupational Health Registered Nurse – Contract

ConocoPhillips is seeking an experienced contract Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our Health Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of occupational health services including non-occupational disability case management (STD) and absence management, medical surveillance exam clearances, and other duties as assigned. This role requires maintaining accurate medical records in our electronic health record system. The role requires good communication, problem solving, and case management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct disability and absence case management for non-work-related injuries and illnesses. Communicates and collaborates with key stakeholders in the business to determine appropriate and safe return to work conditions.
- Perform return-to-work, fitness-for-duty exams, and assessments.
- Perform OSHA Medical Surveillance exam clearances.
- Review Post-offer Pre-Employment Physicals.
- Maintains confidential, accurate, and timely medical records in our electronic health record system, Cority.
- Works effectively with the Health Services team and other departments, and external providers. Must work well in a professional, customer-focused and collaborative environment.

Experience & Education:
- Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Texas or a compact state.
- Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.

- Minimum three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Occupational Health.
- Experience in case management, FMLA, ADA, Short Term Disability, Return-to-Work Programs, DOT, and OSHA Medical Surveillance program, preferred
- Completion of NIOSH spirometry course, preferred
- CAOHC certification, preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills and in electronic health record systems, with a preference for experience in Cority.
