Key Responsibilities
On Time Placements: Ensuring Truck Placement at Source Location by acting as a support resource, coordinating with Source commercial/Store team and allotted transporter.
Manage Issues & MIS related to placements as per processes.
Goods in Transit tracking by Coordination with Transporter, Receiving & source location. Manage Issues & MIS related to Goods in Transit as per processes.
- Facilitate Inter branch transfer requirements/ off hand FG Movements by coordinating with Logistic Planners, zones, Units, transporters and providing freight rate approvals.
- Clearance of vendor Bills as per payment terms and conditions. Manage Issues & MIS related to bill payment as per processes.
- Ensuring availability of requisite Permits for freight movement at source/dispatching locations.
- Manage Service provider records (Transportation, CFA, Secondary Transportation etc.)- profiles, agreements , Bank guarantees, rate approvals & related MIS
- Manage & fulfill requirement of Packaging material for redressing/repacking of stocks, by coordinating with Zonal commercial teams, Factory Units & warehouses. Reconciliation of packaging / Gift/Pos material at CFAs.
Prepare & Understand MIS/charts which act as a input for Cost Saving & Service through various combination of Source, truck type/mode , material , MWH & destination ( route planning)
Requirement & Skills:
- Understanding of Transportation/ Logistics process.
- Experience in FMCG / white goods / Others related industry for finished goods( or RM/PM) freight movement & Logistic activities
- Ability to manage, follow up & coordinate across Planners, CFAs, Factory Units, and Transporters at same time and drive results with multiple objectives. Resolve issues for different stakeholders
- Experience in SAP (R3) working is preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge in Microsoft office – Excel, Word, Power point.
- 4-6 yrs of exp. of FMCG sector
