The Capacity Planning and Analytics Manager is responsible for optimal resource allocation, forecasting, and planning within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Engineering and GSCM to assess current capacity, predict future needs, develop strategies to enhance efficiency and performance, and develop business solutions to technical challenges. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be positioned to learn and grow continuously connecting evolving business objectives with technical value add processes.

 

This position reports to the Sr. Director Demand and Supply Planning, is part of the Global Supply Chain function. It is located in Sunnyvale, CA or Lodi, CA and will be an on-site role.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing capacity across various departments by collaborating with technical stakeholders and analyzing historical data, trends, and patterns.
  • Develop, implement, and iterate robust forecasting models to predict future capacity based on business growth, seasonality, and efficiency improvements.
  • Work closely with business leaders to allocate resources effectively ensuring optimal utilization, project prioritization, and bottleneck reduction.
  • Define high profile project goals and milestones as well as drive tactical execution to accomplish.
  • Rationalize global inventory target and ensure alignment with global inventory management. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and champion initiatives to implement change.

 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field with 9+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience
  • Experience in Capacity Planning, Material Planning, Resource Management, Operations Planning, Inventory Management or Engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis utilizing Power BI, Excel, and other tools. Understanding of database, SQL & Power BI preferred.
  • Experience with APS, ERP (SAP) and MES systems.

 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within California site locations and internationally 5% of the time.

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Lean certification or experience of daily management, standard work, kaizens, value stream, and Heijunka, preferred
  • Experience with project management; PMP preferred.

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $140,000 – $180,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for documenting, designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting our enterprise regulatory software solutions. The candidate should have a strong background in business analysis and software configuration, implementation, and support.

Business Development Manager – Biopharma

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue growth targets in the Biopharma market vertical, with a primary focus on driving new business, enhancing customer intimacy, and increasing consumable uptake. This role requires developing subject matter expertise around industry & regulatory trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies to expand Phenomenex’s footprint and support new product and application pipelines. Additionally, this role will also involve mentoring other associates on the North American sales team.

 

This position reports to the Sr Manager of Business Development as part of the commercial Sales organization, and will be working remotely to primarily cover the West Coast region of CA/WA, with additional support covering CO/UT.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement strategic action plans in collaboration with Sales, with a focus on engaging high potential accounts and developing new business opportunities
  • Establish relationships through product / workflow discussions, presentations, and providing advanced technical support
  • Design and deliver trainings for the Biopharma vertical across the region, both internally and externally with customers.
  • Support development of industry go-to-market strategy through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product management, R&D, & Applications teams.

Cloud Operations Intern – Boulder, CO

The Cloud Operations Intern is responsible for supporting the reliability, automation, and security of our cloud infrastructure by contributing to operational tooling, monitoring, and deployment workflows. This role drives impact by leveraging cloud-native technologies to assist with real-time issue resolution, infrastructure-as-code initiatives, and secure platform operations in AWS and Kubernetes environments.

 

This position reports to the Cloud Operations Manager and is part of the Cloud Operations team located in Boulder, Colorado and will be an on-site role.  

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with engineers to support cloud-native services and Kubernetes workloads (e.g., Amazon EKS, K8s) in a production-like environment; participate in incident-response simulations and help develop best-practice documentation and runbooks.
  • Contribute to infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Assist with monitoring and alerting using observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Participate in secure cloud operations using tools like AWS IAM, CloudTrail, and AWS Systems Manager.

  • Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience working with containers (e.g., Docker)
  • Experience with source control and collaborative development tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab)

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Kubernetes or equivalent platforms (e.g., Amazon EKS, K3s, MicroK8s)
