Costing Intern

The Costing Intern is responsible for analyzing related quality control testing to products and building models to monitor.

 

This position reports to the Manager-Pricing and Resource Analytics and is part of the Pricing and Analytics Team located in Logan, UT and will be an on-site role.

 

What you will do:

  • Audit quality control testing and assign appropriate costing for incoming and outgoing products.
  • Set process for future year quality control test updates.
  • Assist in modeling savings for quality assurance testing.
  • Assist in other pricing and costing tasks as needed.

 

Who you are:

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in finance, data analytics, economics, statistics, business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. 

 

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in SQL, Qlik, Tableau and Power BI

 

The hourly range for this role is $20.00-24.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

We are currently seeking a manager to join our Development Science Team, reporting to the Global Head of Development Science, and lead a team of multi-disciplinary scientists. This individual would be expected to actively contribute to our innovation pipeline and support the growth and development of our product pipeline.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead, manage and support a team of development scientists working on the development of new analytical technologies, whilst developing a detailed understanding of the company’s technology platforms and products, key applications, and target customer and market.
  • Be a leader in promoting customer-focused product development mindsets whereby all product development activities are executed with the end-goal application and customer in-mind.
  • Ensure the quality and timely delivery of all experimental data, project-related tasks, and activities from each team member.
  • Promote solutions through participation in technical conferences, trade shows, publications, seminars, and symposiums. Present at internal and external meetings.
  • Support the Global Head of Development Science in executing on company strategy through new product development activities, in addition to, sustainment activities for protecting core products.

 

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • PhD or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Analytical instrumentation, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related discipline (essential) with at least 8-years hands-on experience in Biotech/Pharma industry (essential).
  • Strong track record and hands-on experience in people and project management (essential).
  • Strong track record and hands-on experience in technology development with practical experience working in interdisciplinary teams.

 

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Hands-on experience in the development of biologic drugs, specifically working in the development of monoclonal antibody therapeutics.

The Regional Sales Manager for Beckman Coulter is responsible for leading a team of cross disciplined sales executives and coaching the sales teams to increase sales revenue through market penetration and promotion of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics portfolio of products.

 

This position is part of the North American Commercial Organization and will be fully remote covering the New England territory including most of NY and part of northern NJ with 50% travel.  At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

 

You will be a part of the East Area and responsible for guiding sales teams through long sales campaigns with hospitals and laboratories within your defined region and across the country. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Own core growth for sales region including establishing regional strategy, communicating plan and driving accountability of team. Identify countermeasures gaps and implement a personal business plan designed to achieve established annual sales and financial goals.
  • Develop and maintain high impact, collaborative, relationships with key customers in region to protect and grow business and make productive use of internal Beckman resources, while also leveraging expertise to assist team toward region financial YOY growth (i.e. Service Partners, Marketing, Finance, Sales Ops etc.)
  • Accurately forecasts sales for region, owns presentations of dashboard metrics on weekly pod calls,  drive adoption of SFDC as a vital tool to manage business and partners with IDN Leader, and participate in IDN Account Plan creation and development, while driving accountability with team to execute on strategy.
  • Guide team and ensure sales standard work is followed within pods, including driving adoption and use of account plans, business reviews, SFDC updates, and accuracy, acting as advisor/coach/consultant and empowering team to create/drive/own account strategy. Have accountability to action plans, and responsible for removing obstacles and preventing account management success.
  • Select, coach, train and develop sales representatives in building a strong, progressive, and motivated work team as well as providing team leadership and foster a team that strives for high engagement and uses the engagement scores to develop a plan that targets increased engagement among the team and organization.
  • Ensures that each direct report has a strong mentor, assigned with a regular cadence, and is working on developing skills in line with each rep’s development goals. On average travel 3 days / week to coach sales associates on sales process and account management.  Identify opportunities to provide mentoring and guidance to other Regional Sales Managers.
  • Oversee key projects and initiatives that span outside of the region and across the NACO Sales organization.

 

The essential requirements of the job include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years experience selling into hospital or lab or Master’s degree with 7+ years experience in the care space (strong preference towards the diagnostics space)
  • Able to travel at least 50% of the time

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist with a specialization in image analysis and a passion for leveraging artificial intelligence within the life sciences domain. In this role, you will be involved in the develop and implementation of advanced AI-driven image analysis solutions to drive breakthrough insights in areas such as drug discovery, diagnostics, and biomedical research. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including biologists, data scientists, and software engineers, to transform complex image data into actionable insights that inform critical decision-making.

 

This position reports to the Manager, Software Engineering and is part of the R&D-Team located in Bellevue, Seattle and will be an on-site role.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Advanced Image Analysis & AI Integration: Develop and optimize AI algorithms for image analysis, collaborate with teams to solve biological challenges, and create innovative algorithms for feature extraction and pattern recognition.
  • Data Management & Processing: Oversee the collection and preprocessing of large-scale image datasets, and develop scalable data pipelines for comprehensive analysis.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in data analysis, with at least 3 years focused on image analysis in the life science or biomedical research sector, and experience in applying AI and machine learning techniques to image data.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and/or R, experience with AI libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), and strong expertise in image processing tools (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-image, Matlab, ImageJ).
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of biological imaging techniques (e.g., fluorescence microscopy, MRI, CT scans) and familiarity with life science research and clinical applications.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset, ability to develop and implement complex data-driven solutions, and manage competing priorities effectively.

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with advanced topics such as GANs, video analysis, or 3D image reconstruction
  • Experience in publishing research in peer-reviewed journals or presenting at scientific conferences.
  • Experience in integrating multi-modal data sources (e.g., imaging data with genomic data).
