Interns will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Jackson office from May 19 – May 22 for onboarding, and from August 6 – 8 for final presentations. These are mandatory participation dates for the internship program.

- Develop a thorough understanding of Dawn’s product life cycle beginning at the Dawn manufacturing plant through customer delivery.
- Participate in and understand material variance procedures (damages, cycle counts and expired product).
- Understand the complexities and intricacies of Dawn’s Outbound operations, including an international export business.

About the Job
This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position.

As a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.

- Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery.
- Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
- Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion
- Ability to understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP that is used for all aspects of warehouse operations
- Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures by learning and practicing American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards for warehouse sanitation
