Your Responsibilities

 

As a Part-Time Student – Accounting Associate for John Deere Financial located in Johnston, IA, you will….

 

  • Assist with cash applications and customer payment returns.
  • Run and troubleshoot Power Automate processes.
  • Work on miscellaneous projects.

Manager, Fraud Control

As a Manager, Fraud Control for John Deere Financial located in Johnston, IA, you will….

 

  • Lead the JDF global fraud control function and directs the collection, dissemination and application of data necessary to minimize undetected fraud and continuously improve core processes.
  • Develop and implement processes, tools, systems, and reports to assist with fraud control and fraud risk decisions, and assesses and communicates the maturity of JDF fraud control.
  • Develop and execute on a plan to continue to mature the fraud control program.
  • Create a plan to deliver and review policies, guidelines, protocols, and metrics to ensure the company has an effective fraud control program and meets or exceeds regulations, regulator expectations, and good financial practice.
  • Analyze, assess, and quantify the fraud risks associated with products, individual applications, business activities, and the market to determine whether any risk is outside the agreed risk appetite.
  • Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function’s strategy and business plan within the business area or department; explain the relationship to the broader organization’s mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these tenets and do extraordinary things to achieve business goals.

Collector Bilingual

Your Responsibilities

As a Collector for John Deere Financial Inc. located in Grimsby, ON, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of past due accounts with the goal of keeping low levels of delinquency while nurturing customer and dealer relationships. In addition, you will:

  • Manage multiple delinquent accounts for debt collection efforts. Analyze each past due account to prompt collection courses of action while adhering to legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Review credit bureau reports, customer payment history and relevant market information to plan a course of action to resolve outstanding customer accounts.
  • Work closely with customers to establish their ability to meet payment obligations. Contact customers to negotiate payment plans and/or recommend customized repayment options and guide them through the repayment process.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure payments are made based on established deadlines.
  • Recommend and/or authorize repossessions or deferrals using knowledge of industry trends and input from dealers.
  • Participate in process improvement and/or team-oriented projects.

What Skills You Need

  • Proficiency in English and French (bilingual role to service French speaking customers)
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment; Self-motivated with ability to independently manage workload and work in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a collection/customer service/account management/credit environment
  • Ability to work a set shift within hours of operation (8:30am -5:30pm EST)
  • This is a remote position; candidates must have an appropriate work from home set-up with a stable internet connection
