The Talent Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining the recruitment process within the USI and US sectors of Marketing Excellence. This position requires a proactive individual who will connect with various leadership and operational teams to ensure alignment on headcount, manage recruitment processes, and facilitate the setting up of new teams. The coordinator will be instrumental in maintaining efficient communication between all stakeholders, driving awareness and consistency across talent lifecycle, and ensuring talent strategies are aligned with organizational goals.

Work you’ll do:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Establish and maintain regular communication with the USI Business Area Leaders (BAL) and US Marketing Excellence POC to align on headcount numbers and manage backfill positions due to resignations.
  • Liaise with US POD leads, BALs, US leaders, and the recruitment team to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Headcount Management:

  • Update the USI Headcount Tracker with all work force moves.
  • Seek approval from senior stakeholders for opening positions and provide regular update reports as required.
  • Collaborate with USI PMO, BAL, and US POC and Finance lead to ensure alignment with budgeted headcount and numbers.
  • Monitor and ensure that the USI teams do not exceed the fiscal year’s allotted headcount, implementing course corrections with leadership involvement as necessary.

Recruitment Process Oversight:

  • Drive weekly meetings with the USI recruitment team to obtain updates on open positions and strategize on reducing hiring times.
  • Direct the recruitment team on business priorities, coordinate hiring blitzes, and other focused recruitment efforts to close positions swiftly.
  • Innovate and implement new processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment cycle.

Training and Process Improvement:

  • Drive awareness and consistency on the recruitment processes and initiate the recruitment cycle.
  • Accelerate and facilitate the setup of new teams in USI, from recruitment to the execution of processes.
  • Identify gaps in current recruitment strategies and provide alternative solutions or next steps to BAL for approval from USI Leadership and US POC.

Process Improvement & Innovation:

  • Coordinate timely updates on the status with US leads and convey challenges USI BAL are facing, follow-up on pending feedback and other issues.
  • Identify opportunities to drive innovation, awareness and adoption across talent topics.

Education and Experience:

  • 6+ years relevant experience in Marketing, Talent or project management.
  • Proficient in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or a similar role within a large organization.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights to improve strategies.
  • Proactive creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and campaigns.
  • Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating a high degree of ownership over projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas, provide rationale, and make recommendations to leaders and their teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate within a highly dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Work we do:

As a consultant/senior consultant in the Investment Compliance Monitoring (ICM) team, you will assist asset managers and service providers in their efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their compliance monitoring capabilities. You will perform contract analysis of source documentation, such as investment guidelines and prospectus to identify, capture, code and test investment restrictions within the ICM system on a remedial and forward-looking basis. You will also assist clients in designing and implementing a target operating model (TOM) for the ICM function and selection and optimization of the implementation of automated ICM systems, all aligned with leading industry practices.

Work you’ll do:

  1. Essential Technical Expertise:
  • Compliance Coding Proficiency: Experience in coding Investment Compliance constraints/rules for various financial products, including Equity, Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Alternative Investment using platforms like Aladdin, CRD, or Latent Zero Sentinel.
  • Compliance Rule Assessment: Ability to evaluate existing rules for accuracy and effectiveness within the order management system, including the coding of client and regulatory rules on compliance platforms. In-depth understanding of restrictions such as the Investment Company Act 1940, UCITS, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933 is expected. Knowledge of state insurance investment rules would be an advantage.
  • Standard Rule Setting: Experience in setting standard rule coding for generic rules, including cash limits, concentration limits, and stock/issuer/sector/currency /country bet limits etc.
  • Control Parameters/Classification: Strong understanding of securities ratings methods, industry classification, benchmark indexes, compliance calculation builder, and various control parameters.
  • Documentation and Testing: Proficiency in writing testing documents to demonstrate reviews conducted and to illustrate adequate processes/controls in coding rules on the order management system.
  • Conversion/Migration: Experience in conversion and migration activities, including client deliverables, processes, and data conversion mapping. Ability in Conversion and migration of investment compliance rules onto Charles River/Aladdin/LZ Sentinel.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ability to monitor Pre and Post-trade transactions, ensuring compliance with investment limits for holdings and transactions. The candidate should be adept at identifying and reporting breaches and collaborating with relevant parties for resolution.
  • Compliance Rules Testing and Adjustment: Ability to execute Business User Acceptance Testing (BUAT) and re-engineering of compliance rules encoded in platforms like CRIMS, Aladdin, or LZ Sentinel, accompanied by comprehensive commentary.
  • Investment Guideline Review/Analysis: Experience in reviewing Investment Guidelines and language used in investment Management agreements, SAI, Prospectus.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in a financial services organization (preferably a bank, capital markets organization or broker-dealer), regulatory agency, or consulting firm, with a clear record of expertise, accomplishment, and impact is highly valued.

•      Domain Expertise: Exposure in one or more domains within Capital Markets and Asset Management such as Trading Operations, Securities Operations, Wealth/Asset Management Operations, Prime Brokerage Operations, Trust Operations, Custody, Clearing and Settlement, Automated Clearing House facilities, Investment Compliance, Trade and Market Surveillance, Conduct Risk, or other relevant domain areas.

  • Technical and Operational Proficiency: Familiarity with Macros and SQL, along with a strong understanding of the front, middle, and back-office operations, investment operations, investment management, and capital markets.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Across any of 7 USI locations (Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune)

Preferred

  • FRM and/or CFA certification.
  • Prior consulting experience.

Work you’ll do

As a Pursuit lead on our team you will:

  • Manage pursuit teams to develop proposal responses and oral presentations
  • Lead proposal opportunities, providing support to the proposal writing/design team and account team
  • Make significant contribution to the development and continuous improvement of proposal management processes, tools, and templates
  • Synthesize data from all sources, determine essential areas and apply results to pursuit effort. Demonstrate a high level of comprehension and application in delivering proposal content.
  • Provide the leadership, methodologies, procedures, tools, and templates to support proposal development efforts

Qualifications

Required

·       Have approximately 6-9 years of work experience with minimum of five (3-5) years in proposal management/proposal development

·       Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)/ Technology

·       2+ years’ experience in supervising teams

Skills

·       Experience in leading large and complex proposals

·       Diversity of experience in large corporate organizations and small business concerns

·       Excellent communicator – both written and oral

·       Experience leading teams in strategic and tactical discussions

·       Ability to Gather information through appropriate technologies and network; analyze data to create content to best position the pursuit team
