You Will

  • Responsible for cleaning all assigned customer aircraft thoroughly
  • Ensure cleaning supplies readied for each arrival into station and handled as per company and EPA procedures
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is operational and proper PPE worn
  • Vacuum, sweep, dust, disinfect, and clean all areas of the aircraft as outlined within dnata training
  • Handle International Trash in accordance with regulatory procedures
  • Ensure that we represent the customer and protect the integrity of their respective products by delivering a Clean and Safe operation consistently
  • Ensure compliance with dnata, TSA and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

You Have

  • Possess/maintain a valid State driver’s license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations
  • Must be able to pass SIDA airport and training tests
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Specific shifts to be determined by administrative staff due to operational needs
  • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operation
  • Ability to work in inclement weather

Ramp Agent/Ground Service Agents

You Will

  • Guiding inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate
  • Lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting passenger bags and cargo to/from aircraft, bag carts, dollies, and conveyor belts
  • Driving and/or operating ground support equipment, such as tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, baggage tugs and more.
  • Maintaining safety and security on the ramp and practicing all safety policies and procedures
  • Communicating efficiently with ground personnel and flight crews
  • Maintaining an understanding of and following all applicable federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Working with other departments to ensure on-time performance of flights
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Including but not limited to standing, lifting, bending, stooping, walking, crawling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • Push, pull, lift, and load up to 70 pounds (32 kg) on a regular basis
  • Ascend/descend jet-way stairs while carrying baggage
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels
  • Ability to understand and react to verbal and visual commands and safety warnings, with and without assistance of sight or visual aids
  • Work outside in all types of weather and around jet and machinery noises

POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the operations at dnata Catering North America. In this role, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our aviation catering unit, working closely with the General Manager to ensure efficient functioning and adherence to quality standards. Your primary focus will be to contribute to our financial goals, enhance operational processes, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements while fostering a collaborative team environment.

This salary range and is influenced by the level of experience. When calculating the base pay, we take into account various factors such as location, qualifications, training, and experience as part of the overall compensation package. Salary range $95,000-$150,000

You Will

  • Assist in the overall management of facility operations, including quality control and purchasing, to meet established goals.
  • Support profit and loss management by monitoring financial performance and assisting in budget achievement.
  • Identify and recommend areas for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate in implementing quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Help maintain compliance with dnata Food Safety Standards, including HACCP, SSOP, and GMP.
  • Ensure timely completion of all food safety audits according to dnata’s standards.
  • Aid in the development and leadership of a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement.

You Have

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required; Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of inflight catering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Incident response

  • Ensure threats, knives and breaches are handled in a timely manner and investigated properly to determine root cause and corrective action.

You Will

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Experience in producing high-volume, high-quality food from menus. 
  • Must have experience with various cooking duties – (grilling, preparing sauces, etc.) 
  • Operating a traditional indian cuisine cooking such items as meat and breads 
  • Preparing indian cuisine curries, sauces, and desserts as per standard and style set by the Head Chef(s)  
  • Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, burners/pans, and other cooking equipment  
  • Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of traditional indian cuisine including desserts.  
  • Ensure the correct preparation and presentation standard of the dishes is always maintained. 
  • Demonstrating tandoor techniques and cooking procedures to other staff if require 
  • Storing food in temperature-controlled freezers 
  • Checking on food supplies and advising the supervisor of any requirements 
  • Knowledge of HACCP/GMP is a plus, must comply with proper food handling policies and procedures.
