POSITION OVERVIEW
This Project Manager has the primary responsibility to coordinate the execution of all projects for a social-first brand. This position is the hub of communication for the team regarding all project deliverables. The Project Manager is an enthusiastic problem solver and thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project. As the key point of contact for both the client and the project team, the Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of an engagement. You will be responsible for projects each with budgets less than $1M and ensuring that the team delivering the work has everything they need to make Famously Effective work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
On any given day you can expect to,
- Responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with discipline leads and project teams to execute on plans.
- Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon.
- Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals.
- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
- Develop timelines with input from relevant departments.
- Update timelines based on client and/or internal changes, keeping accurate timelines throughout the life of the job.
- Consistently identify needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
- Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.
- Prepare submissions for projects.
- Remind team members of upcoming due dates and alert the key partners should if dates shift along the life cycle of the task.
- Review weekly estimates v. actuals and submit accurate timesheets on a daily basis.
- Coordinate and run weekly status meeting and provide day-to-day project status to the team.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Proven project management, time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks
- High level of language and communication skills as well as an interest in high science
- A passion for social media and digital culture
- Familiarity with Monday.com and Smartsheet are a plus
- 3-5 years’ experience within Advertising or related industry

AKIRA is hiring a Director of Human Resources to lead all HR operations for a high-volume, multi-state retail organization of 1,000+ employees across stores, warehouses, and corporate offices. This is a senior leadership role for a hands-on HR executive who knows retail inside and out and can scale systems, teams, and culture in a growing environment.
This role requires deep, hands-on retail HR leadership experience supporting large, multi-unit operations. Candidates must have experience managing HR across 40 or more retail locations.
