Product Operations (Consultant)

Product Operations at Dream11 strive to build a highly engaging, rewarding, safe, trustworthy and scalable fantasy sports platform. The operations team executes product-driven strategy along with other PM’s to drive user-centric solutions in form of both Dream11’s consumer-facing products and the backend, internal products that orchestrate all consumer-facing operations, alike. The team will be responsible for running the show on the Dream11 product. They will be responsible for driving automation on product operations by understanding user behaviour and backing it with data.

Product Operations is a cross-functional role designed to guarantee successful collaborative work among all teams connected to the product life cycle e.g. the people who are building the product—product managers, design and engineering, as well as support functions such as Sports Operations, Marketing and Customer Support.

Your Role:

  • Planning and executing promotional campaigns, to affect metrics like activation, retention, and conversion
  • Enabling product and content team to drive experimentation across communication channels
  • Owning MIS for the business function and drives learnings for the same
  • Working with product, content, and business analytics teams in collecting and analyzing product data and metrics
  • Conducting user research to identify user needs and market gaps

Qualifiers

  • 1+ years of prior work experience with a keen interest in operations
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and excel with an eye for business metrics

Manager – Product (Rewards)

The Product team is at the forefront of Dream11’s user-first approach, with a single-minded focus towards building a scalable fantasy sports platform that makes every game exciting for all sports fans. From analysing consumer and industry trends to conceptualising features and strategy roadmaps, the Dream11 Product team facilitates cross-functional collaboration to develop innovative solutions that drive retention and growth at Dream11.

Your Role:

  • Plan and execute successful product launches and marketing campaigns to drive the rewards program and its engagement
  • Own the entire product development lifecycle from end to end
  • Set and track the right metrics for the product and use this information to make data-driven decisions
  • Drive the vision created to build the best in class product in the rewards and gamification domain
  • Use data and customer feedback to identify customer needs, pain points and opportunities to improve the product

Qualifiers:

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Management in rewards or gamification domain at a high growth B2C company
  • Excellent communication and data skills

SDE 2 – ML & Data Platform

Technology is at the core of everything we do. Our technology team helps us deliver a mobile-first experience across platforms (Android & iOS) while managing over 450 million RPM at peak with a user concurrency of over 15 million.

Building highly specialised and scalable data and ml platforms are key for driving excellence at this scale. Our Data and ML Platforms work with petabytes of data, and deliver the best user experience by running ML models at a scale of 60 million RPM. Data and machine learning is at the heart of driving product innovations and form a core tenet for all our decisions. Our platforms are built on a tech stack which is hosted on AWS & GCP with distributed systems like Spark, Flink, Cassandra, Aerospike, Akka, Voltdb, Ignite, Pulsar etc.

Your Role:

  • Analyzing requirements and designing software solutions based on first principle design patterns (e.g. Object Oriented Design and Analysis, E-R Modelling)
  • Designing and building resilient, specialized distributed systems using SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, and big-data processing frameworks
  • Deploying and configuring cloud-native software services on public cloud
  • Operating and supporting software services in production based on on-call schedules, using observability tools such as Datadog for logging, alerting, monitoring
  • Taking full ownership of services and projects, ensuring diligence in tasks and protocols, and providing clear communication on timelines, pivots, and progress

Qualifiers:

  • 3+ years of software development experience with Java/Python, including expertise in database modeling (E-R modeling), SQL, and NoSQL databases
  • 2+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Design Patterns
  • Familiarity with messaging frameworks such as Kafka or MQ
  • Experience working with AWS or any public cloud infrastructure

UX Researcher 3 (Qualitative)

The Design team at Dream11 consists of User Experience Researchers, UX Designers, UI Designers, Graphic Designers and Illustrators. The team plays a critical role in ensuring that the products and experiences delivered to our users are not only useful and useable, but that they accurately reflect our brand and are a delight to use. Your Role:

  • You own qualitative research across product areas with ability to work with high-level, often ambiguous problem definition
  • Your core research skills are solid and you operate at a high level of independence and excellence
  • Deep understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of research methods and techniques including when and how to apply them
  • Your are highly skilled at communicating insights using appropriate format, persuasion and level of detail
  • Your work demonstrates the ability to analyse large to very large data sets using analysis tools and techniques to derive meaningful insights, and uncover patterns and trends related to user behavior
  • You are adept at stakeholder management and are able to influence product and design strategy by using insights and user advocacy
  • You drive impact through collaboration – you are expected to be a solid team player, mentor to juniors and are always evangelising research within the org

Qualifiers:

  • Minimum 5 years experience driving qualitative research studies in a research agency / in a brand or digital product organisation
  • Masters (or equivalent) in Management, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field
  • Experience in qualitative research methodologies including, usability, interviewing, concept testing, diary studies, literature reviews, focus groups, and surveys
