Starting your professional career after graduation is an exciting milestone, and today’s job market offers countless opportunities for graduates across a wide range of industries. Employers are actively hiring entry-level candidates who are eager to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to growing organizations. Whether you’ve recently completed your degree or are looking for your first full-time position, entry-level jobs provide valuable experience, professional training, competitive salaries, and clear pathways for career advancement.

Graduate jobs are available in industries including Information Technology, Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Engineering, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, Logistics, Education, Marketing, Human Resources, Customer Service, Construction, Telecommunications, and Government Services. Healthcare remains one of the fastest-growing employment sectors for graduates. Hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, and healthcare organizations recruit nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technicians, healthcare administrators, medical assistants, researchers, and allied health professionals. Hotels, resorts, airlines, restaurants, and travel companies recruit Front Office Executives, Guest Service Associates, Event Coordinators, Reservation Agents, Sales Assistants, and Hospitality Management Trainees. These roles provide valuable customer service experience and opportunities to progress into supervisory and management positions.

Remote and hybrid work opportunities have expanded significantly for graduates. Working in an entry-level position offers many benefits beyond earning your first salary. Many employers provide health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, performance bonuses, mentorship programs, tuition assistance, certification sponsorship, and career development opportunities. Graduate Operations Executive

About HIVED 📦

At HIVED, we’re steamrolling forward as one of Europe’s fastest growing startups, and our momentum shows no signs of slowing.

Based in London, we are a climate and logistics start-up building the first sustainable parcel delivery network at scale, powered by a 100% electric fleet. In an ever-growing industry where unreliable service has long been the norm, HIVED has been built from the ground-up to meet the demands of modern consumers and disrupt parcel delivery.

A tech company at heart, our talent and technology is laser-focused on delivering the best possible delivery experience for end-customers and meeting the needs of our retail partners. From our drivers to our data engineers, we are constantly working to improve this customer experience that makes us deliver better.

Already trusted by leading international brands such as John Lewis, Nespresso, Uniqlo, H&M brands and more, we are solidifying our position as the leaders in Europe to tackle this growing market.

Our tight-knit team is made up of ex-Revolut, Bain, HelloFresh, ASOS, Apple and Google employees, and we are backed by some of Europe’s leading investors and VCs in climate-tech, logistics and mobility including Planet A Ventures, Maersk Growth, Pale Blue Dot VC, Eka Ventures, NordicNinja VC and the British government. We’re passionate about driving innovation and redefining the future of delivery.

Our Values

  • 😊 We Are Kind – Kind to the planet, our team and our partners. We listen with purpose, leave our egos at the door and aren’t afraid to make difficult decisions. We must never confuse kindness with being “nice” – it requires us to be fair, consistent, honest, thoughtful and compassionate.
  • 🤝 We Are Tenacious – We fight every day to keep the customer promise, for every parcel entrusted to us. No matter how hard it gets or whatever stands in our way, we are relentless in our pursuit of excellence.
  • 💡 We Are Curious – We never settle, constantly challenge convention and are never afraid to ask why. We believe there is always more to learn, always a better way, and that we’re always only just getting started. We never fight the urge to be inquisitive, to understand the world around us and to explore where others might not.
  • 🌍 We Are Resourceful – Our planet’s resources are scarce and our future depends on our ability to use them wisely. Waste is the enemy. We strive to do more with less, be more efficient and make the most of what we have.

Role Overview 📝

HIVED is building the UK’s first 100% electric parcel delivery network, and we’re looking for the next generation of leaders to grow with us. As part of our Graduate Operations Executive Programme from day one you will own real problems, drive real decisions, and sit at the heart of a business that is fundamentally changing how logistics works. If you have ever looked at the delivery industry and thought this should be better, you are already thinking like a HIVED grad.

This programme is designed as a springboard into both operations and the wider business. Previous grads have moved into roles across Marketing, Product, Capacity, Central Operations and Founders’ Office after building a deep grounding in Operations.

What you’ll be doing 🚀

Programme structure (3-4‑month rotations, ~13 months in total):

  • 3 weeks onboarding and shadowing:
    • Hit the ground running with a structured introduction to HIVED. You’ll get under the bonnet of the business through sessions with teams across Sales, Finance, Engineering and more, so you understand how every part fits together.
    • You’ll also undertake a “ride-along” with one of our drivers to see our delivery operation in action, as well as shadowing each of our operational teams.
    • To round things off, you’ll spend dedicated time with our AI and Automation Squad, getting hands-on with the low-code and AI tools we use day-to-day, so you’re set up to make a real impact from day one.
  • Rotation through the following in no particular order:
    • 4 months in Ops Run: E.g., running the day-to-day operation in depots, supporting shift leads, tracking live performance, solving operational fires and customer support.
    • 4 months in Central Ops: E.g., process design, SOP creation, data analysis, continuous improvement projects.
    • 4 months in Network / SIO: E.g., modelling capacity, helping plan route and depot network changes, supporting scaling initiatives.

What we’re looking for 🔎

  • You’re graduating in 2026 (or graduated in 2024/25 and are ready for your next move).
  • You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and don’t wait to be told what to do.
  • You’re a natural problem solver, you see a broken process and immediately want to fix it.
  • You’re comfortable experimenting with tools like AI assistants, Zapier, Airtable, Make or similar to automate repetitive work and make teams more effective.
  • You’re motivated by a mission and the opportunity to disrupt an industry.
  • You’re collaborative to your core, but not afraid to push back when you see a better way.
  • You have a track record of going above and beyond in work, study or life e.g. building something from scratch, leading teams, balancing demanding commitments, or driving change in an organisation.
  • You have real-world work experience (internships, part-time work, societies, your own projects) where you’ve taken responsibility and delivered outcomes.
  • You have strong analytical capability and are comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets and data-backed decision making.

What you will gain 💪🏻

Our programme is deliberately accelerated. Within 13 months you will have:

  • End-to-end visibility of how a high-growth logistics startup operates.
  • A chance to shape and define how 21st century logistics operates.
  • Direct mentorship from HIVED’s senior leadership team.
  • Exposure to senior decision‑making. You’ll regularly be in the room for key Ops and cross‑functional discussions, building context and confidence to influence decisions early in your career.
  • A portfolio of real projects. By the end of the programme you’ll be able to point to specific launches, process changes or performance improvements that you owned and delivered.
  • You’ll build strong relationships across Ops, Product, Commercial and the Exec team, giving you options for where to land after the scheme and a support network that will follow you through your career.
  • A fast-track path to a permanent role at HIVED either in operations or the broader business, with a defined progression framework.

Support and development 📈

  • A dedicated mentor outside your day-to-day team who will support your development, run regular check-ins and help you explore long-term paths at HIVED.
  • A buddy from our previous graduate cohort to provide peer support and a realistic view of life at HIVED.
  • A clear progression framework and a fast-track path to a permanent role for high performers at the end of the 13 months.

  • Communicates insights clearly and can bring stakeholders on the journey.
  • Isn’t afraid to question assumptions and suggest a better way of doing things.
  • Brings energy, resilience and a hands-on approach to solving problems.

But we’re more than that… For over 25 years, trust has been at the heart of everything we do, helping us become the UK’s most trusted electrical retailer. Our customers rate us 4.9 on Trustpilot from nearly ONE MILLION reviews and more 5-star ratings than any other UK electrical retailer, because they know they can rely on us and it’s the exact same for our AOers too.

We truly believe it’s more than just a job, we genuinely care about each other and our impact on making our customers lives easier, by helping them brilliantly. Everyone here knows how their role makes a difference. Our people are our superpower, so, when it comes to finding new AOers, we know it’s about more than just a CV, it’s about what makes you, YOU.
