We seek a Social Media Strategist to develop and implement engaging content and strategies across social platforms. This role involves analyzing performance metrics to optimize results and staying current with social media trends. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary 7-month assignment.
Responsibilities of the Social Media Strategist:
- Create and curate engaging content tailored to various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging

Qualifications of the Social Media Strategist:

- Holistic understanding of social platforms and placements to recommend strategic guidance to drive results on KPI’s outlinied by the EG social strategy, including paid boosting
- Experience with systems such as Slack, SharePoint, Sprinkers, Canva, and other analytic and social media tools
- Ability to analyze social media performance metrics to make informed decisions
- Experience working globally
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and best practices, including paid boosting advertising strategies, and campaign and community management
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, while also collaborating effectively with teams across different regions

The B2B Product Marketing team is looking for an experienced and collaborative Program Manager to support its operations and drive research excellence at scale. The Product Marketing team advocates for partner needs from the early stages and throughout the product lifecycle, supporting product and business decisions with qualitative and quantitative research and driving successful go-to-market initiatives across Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Airlines, Car Rentals, and Activities partners. Your expertise and customer-obsession will help us improve B2B experiences across hundreds of thousands of travel businesses.
In this role, you will
- Assist Product Marketing team members in planning and conducting customer research, including identifying and recruiting participants and the end-to-end procurement and finance processes;
- Develop and own the templates for consistent internal research communication across the organization and between lines of business;
- Strong understanding of what “good” looks like within the research briefing process and support Product Marketing team with the standards of a high caliber brief;
- Collaborate closely with research teams across the organization to identify synergies and define shared processes and best practices,
- Own vendor relationships by developing the standards of each third-party agency we work with, so the Product Marketing team has a “menu” by project type and research goals; Support the scaling of our customer research community across partner segments to enable the acceleration of our research programs;
- Manage budget, prioritization and logistics across the Product Marketing team’s research and content initiatives;

Experience and qualifications:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, and 5+ years of experience as a market or UX researcher, program manager, project manager, or similar role.
- You have experience in planning research activities including managing vendors, budgets, and creating research briefs.
- Preferred: you have demonstrated knowledge in driving product/market fit research to influence business decisions and product roadmaps in the early stages of product lifecycle.
- You have a track record of working with Marketing and/or Product teams, ideally in complex matrixed environments.
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

Consultative Sales Strategy:
Drive and execute strategy for advertising partners, to grow Media Solutions business. Customer Focus:
Proactively Build and maintain fruitful relationships with partners and provide clients with a consultative sales experience.
Others:
- Accurately forecast media revenue demand for territory, based on Expedia Group market research data, industry insights and partner engagement.
