Program Manager

As a Program Manager in the XR tech group, you will work with leadership and collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to understand what capabilities are on the technological horizon and manage programs for internal testing and partnerships with third party developer ecosystems. Problem-solving and process management comes second nature to you and are evident in your skills, your past projects, and the breadth of successes that have marked your career. You are curious about and engage with emerging technologies and are excited by the AR, VR, MR, XR space. You are interested in how new technologies enable new means of self-expression to a Meta scale audience.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with executive leadership and technical teams to innovate and deliver advanced XR product capabilities.
- Partner with our comms team to provide content and context for org-wide touchpoints & leadership processes including internal communications (Q&A, All-Hands, posts and emails)
- Manage program operations for product workstreams and internal testing in emerging technologies in the MR and Wearables spaces.
- Build a user engagement program for testing, development and research of prototype experiences across multiple locations.
- Coordinating with internal teams for pipeline of prototype experiences and manage scheduling with various
- You will assist with program management, operations and communications for product workstreams related to computational mapping, contribute to strategic projects and programs for internal and external facing programs and partnerships.
- Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams, serving as the first point of contact for any program-related requests, inquiries, and action items that fall under your purview
- Coordinating with various site-leads and conducting bi-weekly syncs

Qualifications
- 4-8 years program/project management experience within technology companies
- Excellent communication, capable of speaking to large audiences, hosting workshops, and similar events related public speaking engagements
- Experience working effectively with people of all levels, including executives, both within and outside of their organization
- Skilled at setting up programs and operationally efficient
- Able to shift priorities quickly and to act proactively, while maintaining organization and control
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality and using discretion is essential
- Strong project management, communication and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to juggle a range of tasks
- Proven track record handling highly confidential information
- Travel 10-20% of the time

Meta is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to join their team in Sunnyvale, CA! In this position, you will be working with a collaborative team that is very supportive of one another. You will be be working in a Lab environment conducting lab tests, bench measurements, and testing power for different systems.
Role Responsibilities:
- Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.
- Analyze information to determine plan layout, including type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications
- Assemble and modify existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs
- Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine hardware configuration
- Monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.

Responsibilities
- Engineer and develop concepts and prototypes for wearables
- Ensure detailed geometry, accommodating for both current and new electronic packages.
- Design and develop new prototypes and new wearables concepts
- Design 2D/3D CAD models using Siemens-NX and SolidWorks
- Develop high volume of CAD files for rapid prototyping, model development, streamlining project evaluations and design iterations.
- Conceptualize, develop, and test innovative mechanisms and materials for wearables, improving functionality and performance.
- Oversee DFMEA processes ensuring design reliability and safety.
