What does a successful Human Resources Manager do at Fiserv?

In this role, you will collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement a people strategy that enables success within your client groups. You will deliver a full spectrum of both strategic programs and tactical HR support to the organization including organizational design, employee relations, performance management, career development and advising on various management issues. You will utilize your HR domain expertise, effective communication, strong analytical skills, and teamwork to achieve outstanding business results.

What you will do:

  • Support the success of the organization’s strategic plan. Coach and counsel leaders to optimize their human capital via employee engagement, organizational design and effectiveness, employee relations, change management, learning & development, and performance management efforts.
  • Initiate workforce analysis and organization design activities with business leaders to ensure structure and staffing are proactively managed to meet short and long-term business goals and desired retention is achieved.
  • Ensure change management activities within the business are managed in a timely, professional, and lawful manner and that communications regarding change are clear, concise, and consistent.
  • Serve as liaison to managers, associates, and various levels of senior management to provide answers to complex questions regarding policy and procedure interpretation, utilizing general knowledge of HR disciplines and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and statutes.
  • Utilize data to develop and drive people strategies. Track and report staffing, retention, attrition, and other data to management; recommend programs and/or enhancements as appropriate.
  • Ensure core HR processes (e.g., performance, talent reviews, compensation, talent acquisition, etc.) are clearly communicated and understood by managers and associates within assigned client groups.
  • Proactively identify and address HR challenges and opportunities, which may affect the execution of business plans.

 

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • 5+ years Human Resources experience in talent management, employee relations, performance management coaching and change management.
  • Experience in hiring talent, building succession pipelines, assessing and (re)designing org structures, and working with Managers to identify develop opportunities for their talent.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office suite applications

What would be great to have:

  • PHR/SPHR Certification or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
  • Experience in Workday
  • Ability to understand and translate data that impacts the business; productivity improvements, conduct needs assessment and deliver results that positively impact business operations.
  • Solid knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing employment issues.
  • Experience supporting a highly dynamic, fast-paced organization that requires the ability to work independently with limited information and ambiguity.

Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer (z/OS)

The Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer (z/OS) is responsible for the installation, planning, design, management, configuration, implementation, of z/OS and z/OS based ISV software tools.  This position is responsible for supporting existing systems while ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures; assists Operation and Development teams in problem determination and resolution; closely works with other teams in defining and implementing technical solutions to solve business needs and continuously seek operational and business improvements.  You will provide informal project management for complex projects and training to clients and colleagues. You will also assist the Operations Engineering zSeries leaders in reviewing software requirements and establishing technical direction and business strategy for the department.

 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Work with senior team members to perform problem determination and resolution, capture and transmit system dumps, closely work with vendor’s technical support, and work with other mainframe-based technical teams on production roll-out
  • Work with internal customers to clarify technical requests, testing and validation, and project support needs
  • Work with capacity and performance teams in proactively addressing potential performance issues impacting service levels
  • Work with computer operations to quickly resolve incidents
  • Support and participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and provide on call support
  • Perform problem analysis and resolution
  • Ensure availability and performance objectives, as required by customers and management are maintained for operating systems and for system software components
  • Provide informal project management for complex projects, provide training to clients and colleagues, assist the Operations Engineering zSeries leaders in reviewing software requirements and establishing technical direction and business strategy for the department

 

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 10+ years of experience with the application of z/OS communications protocols and systems configuration
  • 8+ years of experience with ISV software, such as Synscort MFX or CA-Endevor
  • 7+ years of experience with JCL, UNIX Shell, and IBM system utilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience

 

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Strong understanding of transmission methods and software
  • Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industries

Sales Operations – Back Office Support

A successful Sales Operations at Fiserv is dedicated to supporting our sales and management teams effectively. This role involves reviewing information, responding appropriately, and maintaining critical relationships with various departments to ensure the seamless boarding and servicing of new merchant accounts. The candidate will contribute to pre-sales & post-sales support, marketplace assistance, and pricing and proposal tasks to drive accuracy and efficiency in our operations.

 

What you will do:

  • Assist with general pre-sales & post-sales support, including consulting on addendums and DDA setup inquiries for law firms
  • Provide guidance on buy rate grids and handle pricing model and billing policy inquiries
  • Navigate marketplace tools, manage dashboards, and support workflow processes
  • Address rush requests and manage boarding tool support tickets efficiently
  • Conduct quality control and submission for paper applications and assist with credit escalations

 

What you will need to have:

  • 1+ years of experience in sales operations or a related role
  • 1+ years of experience using sales support tools and systems
  • 1+ years of experience in pre-sales & post-sales support consulting

Technical Account & Implementation Manager

As a successful Technical Account & Implementation Manager you will be responsible for the full execution and installation of clients onto Fiserv platforms. You will provide technical and operational support, coordinate key activities with cross-functional departments and teams, external vendors, and the client to ensure the implementation process is completed on time and in accordance with requirements.  In this role, you will also be responsible for reviewing and improving processes/procedures needed to implement, manage, and support your client(s).  You will work with the Commerce Hub and PayFac Product teams to identify and improve the client experience and support structure. You will also work closely with your client(s) relationship manager to solve day-to-day business needs.

 

What you will do:

  • Provides clear, concise, written, and verbal answers to complex technical questions.
  • Lead, manage and implement multiple concurrent efforts, driving project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and issue management. This includes but not limited to configuration set up and testing.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and related task lists as necessary, providing contentious feedback and status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Act as the project manager and client point of contact through the life cycle of the project.
  • Develop expertise across a broad spectrum of solution deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, manage client expectations while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in processes and procedures uncovered during the implementation and client support process.
  • Create/update processes and procedures documentation including but not limited to implementation guides, user guides & API documents.
  • Conduct and assist with investigations for issues raised by client pre and post implementation.
  • Prioritize, track, and execute multiple initiatives and drive successful results.
  • Support software deployments for new releases and provide post-implementation support.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, the ability to complete methodical root cause analysis and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ensures project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed.
  • Makes complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Resolve issues with the appropriate urgency with strong attention to detail and follow up as required.

 

What you need to have:

  • Prior work experience managing client implementations
  • Proficient in MS-Office Suite including MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented; someone with strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • Previous work experience in Project Management, Client Management, or Payments
  • Experience in relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience in Restful web services API
  • YAML Experience
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong sense of accountability and follow through
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of clients and internal staff
  • Ability to speak to a technical and non-technical audience
