About the team: 

The Fashion & Category Experiences Product Team at Flipkart looks at creating Category specific experiences for customers at Flipkart. Every category has its own nuances – for example, mobile shoppers perhaps come in with a lot more well formed intent  (“I want to buy a Realme Phone”) vs. fashion which is a browse heavy category (“I want to buy something to wear for a trip”).

PMs in the Category Experiences Team partner closely with the business team to understand business and customer problems for the given business, and figure out product & experience solutions for the same.

Roles & Responsibilites : 

Product Managers play a pivotal role in leveraging technology for providing an exceptional customer experience. With the analytical and problem-solving mindset, they get deeper into the function/problem space, work with stakeholders and partners to develop a wider perspective, take an outside-in view of the problems and create a vision, strategy and roadmap of how product can solve customer & business needs/wants, setting the stage for the right disruptions/innovations of the future.

This role is part of the Category Experiences Product Team at Flipkart – for Fashion Experiences on Flipkart.

What you’ll do:

● Understand the Flipkart Lifestyle shopper/browser & partner closely with the Lifestyle Business team at Flipkart, be the voice of the customer, and conduct extensive user studies to understand customer needs and identify current gaps in the system.

● Work closely with the Fashion business & product lead to define a product vision and strategy.

● Work with the engineering team across the funnel to drive identified features and launches to execution and outcomes.

● Collaborate with partner teams, business teams and other cross-functional stakeholders effectively in driving the products.

What you’ll need:

● 3+ year of experience in product management with an academic background of post-graduation in Management (MBA) or equivalent qualification

● Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends

● Strong technical abilities with experience working for engineering teams.

● Ability to thrive in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment

● Prior Experience in a Fashion E-Commerce Domain will be a bonus.
