Game Integrity Services Bot Specialist

To provide a level and trusted playing field to its customers, PokerStars puts enormous effort into ensuring the games they provide are fair and played cleanly. The Game Integrity Bot Specialist works with customers, internal tools, and their colleagues to enforce the rules set out by our policies and ensure our customers are given the best possible service.

As a Bot Specialist, you will be primarily focusing on enforcing PokerStars’ policies and game rules to identify and combat the use of prohibited software, artificial intelligence and other forms of unfair advantage to ensure a level and trusted playing field to all our customers. As a Bot Specialist, you would handle, investigate, analyse, make informed conclusions upon and act on cases of prohibited tool usage on any of PokerStars’ many platforms. These cases can be the result of customer reports, or more likely the result of proactive reports and alerts from our dedicated tools for prohibited tool detection. In this journey, you will have opportunities to work on individual projects and cases, the results of which you will present to relevant stakeholders though data-driven reports and/or data visualisation. To assist you with your day-to-day tasks, you will have access to modern in-house tools and systems as well as very experienced supporting teams and colleagues.

Additionally, you could be handling various other Game Integrity queries while communicating effectively with external customers and cross-department teams and presenting your results to technical and non-technical audiences.

The Role: Customer Support Advisor

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, a Customer Support Advisor will:

  • Respond promptly and effectively to incoming or outgoing communication to player contacts and exhibiting high levels of attention to detail (chats, emails etc.).
  • Ensure that more complex customer issues are followed up and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Proactively develop customer relationships by maintaining contact at an appropriate level.
  • Escalate recurring customer issues to Team Leader/ SMEs and relevant internal department where applicable.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the customer experience.

What you will do:

You will have the opportunity to develop advanced ML Engineering solution to streamline AI solutions, deploying a variety of algorithms in production and set ML-Ops standard together with the Data Scientists.

What you will need :

  • A Master’s degree qualified in a STEM subject along with more than 8 years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
  • Previous experience in leading a team of ML Engineers and Data Scientists

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and a deep understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience manipulating large datasets using SQL and Pyspark.

  • Exposure to cloud-based machine learning solutions
  • Ability to Manage ML-Ops lifecycle (deploy-monitor-maintain-evolve)
  • Knowledge of ML-Ops/DevOps technology (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline
)
  • Excellent abilities to tell a story through data and explain technical concepts to partners.

Highly desirable skills:

  • Experience in development LLM-based applications and LLM-Ops, leveraging them to tackle business problems is desirable.

  • Publications on international journal is a big plus
