Responsibilities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES COULD INCLUDE:

  • Work with Market Area Management Team to design and enhance the marketing tactics aimed at improving Ford’s Favourable Opinion and growing retail sales
  • Work with advertising and production agencies to review/approve new material including print, digital and radio
  • Develop monthly Tier III Coop analysis to understand shifts in the market quicker and to adjust FDAA actions accordingly
  • Develop and prepare required marketing & sales meeting materials (ie. charts, analysis, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
  • Support Marketing Manager with all regional activations and sponsorships
  • Assist with data analysis, when needed, in the area of parts sales, customer satisfaction and new vehicle sales
  • Collaborate with National digital marketing team to develop best practices that will enhance our dealers’ understanding of digital marketing and increase its usage in Vehicle Sales and Parts & Service
  • Other projects as required

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree (B.Comm, BBA, MBA or equivalent) in progress

  • Provide technical expertise to central Consent and Privacy teams: You will work closely with our central OGC and Privacy teams, providing input and feedback on policies, procedures, and technical implementations.   • Drive strategic vision and roadmaps. Utilize vison documents and roadmaps to create alignment across the different product groups to gain alignment and consistency of implementations

Responsibilities

• Development of security specifications and tools as needed for connected vehicle features
• Assist with architecture process creation and product development security program creation
• Support major product programs with security needs
• Collaborate on Advanced Engineering projects with outside partners in academia, government, or internal Ford teams

Yard Management Logistics Analyst

In this position… 

The Yard Management Logistics Analyst will be responsible for Switching & Yard Management at two or more plants.  This includes supporting the Statement of Work, Running/Reviewing and taking actions on Performance Metrics, Providing YMS Training and Support and identifying process improvements and costs savings.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do…

  • Review yard capacities and ensure trailers are continuously moving into and out of the yard (Minimize Dwell Time)
  • Train the plants (Forklift Drivers, Switchers, Clerks) on the current YMS and keep them apprised of any system enhancements as they are introduced
  • Review all Yard Management Metrics and KPI’s to ensure that plants & yards are operating effectively
  • Use the performance metrics to drive efficiencies, process improvements and cost savings
  • Support all new Plant YMS Launches (OAC, TEVC, Powertrain & Stamping are on the horizon)
  • Meet at regular intervals with the Plant and Switching/Yard Management Companies to review performance, issues and opportunities
  • Monitor, counsel and provide support to the plant onsite Yard Management Analysts
  • Ensure the data integrity / accuracy of the performance metrics that we are responsible for maintaining
  • Work with the Plants, Carriers, Switching Companies to help problem-solve and eliminate barriers to success
  • Create / generate ad-hoc Yard Management reports to support exceptions as they occur
  • Identify, implement and report on cost savings opportunities throughout the year
  • Support New Model Yard Capacity studies
  • Work to identify methods to automate performance metrics or replace with automated dashboards

Qualifications

You’ll have… 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing
  • Experience managing projects and/or system implementations
  • Individual must be a self-starter that does not require excessive direction and is capable of working in a manufacturing environment
  • This could mean night shift, weekends and occasionally holidays
  • This position will require a degree of travel but it should be < 50%
  • Individual must be comfortable analyzing and organizing data and working with everyone from a Truck Driver, Forklift Driver to an MP&L Manager
