Controls Engineer
Pontiac Metal Center is a 1.25 million square foot facility which includes five major presses (4 – IHI AA3X, 1- Rotem XL) and is currently undergoing install & commissioning of FlexFab manufacturing (Trumpf CNC/Robotic cutting, bending, welding – the first of its kind with GM manufacturing). The traditional stamping operation primarily supports Factory Zero, Flint, Ft. Wayne and Oshawa assembly plants – the focal point of electrification and GM’s Zero-Zero-Zero vision.
In this role, you will support plant floor Maintenance and Production teams. This includes, attaining Production metrics (safety, quality, responsiveness, cost) driving project support and supporting the repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM-GMS maintenance practices.
Your work will involve complex manufacturing problems including the need to root cause and follow issues to resolution – as well as sharing and using lessons learned with your peer group. You will be responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process and future strategies and projects related to the manufacturing process. Tactical Security Officer
The primary purpose of this position is to respond to high-threat situations such as an active shooter or terrorist attack by employing tactical teamwork and the use of force necessary to protect people and contain or resolve the incident. The position reports to the Tactical Response Team Lead and operations are based out of Warren, MI but may also be assigned to other worksites and offsite locations typically in Southeast Michigan.
The Tactical Response Team is staffed 24 hours daily, 7-days per week and are scheduled by shifts. Successful candidates must have flexibility to work any shift including afternoons, midnights, weekends, and holidays.

- Preserve order and enforce security regulations and directives pertaining to the worksite, personnel and visitors
