Training runs for 8 weeks, typically Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, and is conducted at our Corporate Offices in Honolulu, Oahu. This position is located in Lihue, Kauai.
Aircraft Mechanic Duties:
- Is responsible for accomplishing assigned maintenance, preventative maintenance and repair work on Hawaiian Airlines aircraft(s)
- Makes certain that all safety and accident prevention measures are adhered to and corrective action taken as warranted
- Inspects parts, sub-assemblies and completed assemblies only to the extent necessary to determine, accomplish and approve own work
- Responsible for the repairing, servicing and maintenance of aircraft systems, powerplants, airframes, avionics and components
- Performs machine tool work in connection with the above mechanic maintenance work
- Accountable for production and assistance in interpretation and resolution of aircraft discrepancies
- Initiate, execute and sign forms, tags and other paperwork in accordance with the appropriate maintenance manuals. Review all paperwork for completeness and signatures. Release aircraft for service in accordance with Hawaiian Airlines maintenance logbook procedures
- Shall be required to return an aircraft to service after maintenance had been performed as allowed by the GMM and the privileges of the FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- Accountable for the general upkeep of ground equipment in support of all maintenance activities assigned to them
- Accountable for proper use and maintenance of equipment that’s used to service, maintain and repair aircraft
Pay and Benefits
- The pay rate for this position is $36.33/hr which includes the A&P license premiums and skill pay. Medical, dental and vision benefits are provided in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
- Receive a $10,000 sign on bonus when you’re hired as an Aircraft Mechanic at our Lihue station.

Minimum Requirements
- Must have a FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a ramp license
- Must be able to lift 25lbs. frequently and up to 70lbs. as needed
- Must have own tools
- Must possess sufficient experience and/or training to perform above duties
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous aircraft maintenance experience preferred

Position Summary
Hawaiian Airlines is looking for a Material Support Agent to join our Supply Operation in Seattle. This position requires strong computer proficiency with a mix of physicality to get the job done. Training for the position may require travel to Honolulu.
Key Responsibilities
- Receives, issues and credits parts and materials
- Prepares proper documents and enters all necessary transactions in TRAX
- Receives, unloads, unpacks, checks and identifies all incoming material
- Stores all parts and material after ensuring proper packaging and labeling
- Processes outgoing material
- Assembles kits required for aircraft checks
- Performs monthly shelf life checks and physical inventory counts
- Must meet qualifications as required in lower level classifications
Minimum Requirements

- You will be lifting 70 lbs. throughout your shift (up to 200 lbs., buddy lift), working in confined spaces on your knees/elbows (belly of an aircraft, which can be nearly 100 degrees, loading/offloading baggage), lifting baggage overhead frequently (weighing 70+ lbs.), operating heavy machinery near the aircraft, driving tugs, and more.
- If hired, you will be required to work as a Ramp Agent for one year before being eligible to apply for other positions within Hawaiian Airlines.
