With that guest experience in mind, The Full-Time Senior Assistant Supervisor of Food Service Experience is the leader in guest service. This position will set the tone for the Food Service team by demonstrating superior guest service and is responsible for coaching team members to maximize guest engagement.
The Full-Time Senior Assistant Supervisor- Food Service Experience is responsible for maximizing sales and minimizing food waste to achieve overall financial success. Supervising the day to day operations of Hershey’s Chocolate World (HCW) Hershey’s Food Service area (to include but not limited to: Ice Cream, S’mores, Bakery, and Food Hall). The incumbent must be keenly aware of the balance required to support superior customer service and Hershey’s Food Service sales. Responsibilities include direct PT Flex-Force employee supervision, zoning, coaching, training, tracking attendance/tardiness, and supporting performance appraisals. Responsibilities also include making some operational decisions and food display adjustments. The Full-Time Senior Assistant Supervisor- Food Service Experience is responsible for maintaining bakery and food displays to standards and food safety and sanitation in all areas. The incumbent participates in weekly Hershey’s Kitchens staff meetings and provides insight on consumer feedback.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Employee Coaching and Supervision (60%)
- Through observation and demonstration, effectively coach all part-time flex force Food Service team members to maximize guest engagement
- Communicate to all employees ensuring they are knowledgeable about Food and Beverage offerings, promotions, marketing initiatives, and complex special events that impact the team
- Facilitate employee training including appropriate coaching and counseling where needed and guest service training to ensure employees can provide the best possible guest service
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, check-in employees at start of shift, ensure all are in proper uniform, and ensure breaks are taken in accordance with policy guidelines
- Facilitate employee rewards and recognition programs by taking the leadership role and demonstrating best practices
- Participate in Part-Time Flex Force annual performance feedback process Facilitate attendance disciplinary process
Operations (20%)
- Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the Food Hall and Bakery Strive for sales excellence and results
- Supporting Inventory processes and standards within the Food Service department including but not limited to; Daily alcohol reconciliation, monitoring and maintaining physical counts of front of house product
- Support Food Hall and Bakery locations as needed, including operational checklist completion
- Support part-time labor planning for business needs in partnership with department scheduler and leadership
- Support future Hershey’s Kitchens and Food Service development and execution
Bakery and food merchandising (10%)
- Responsible for ensuring the ready to serve food and bakery items are merchandised in a consistent manner
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate communication of need with bakery and kitchen production
Leader Duties (10%)
- Responsible for continuously walking the floor to deliver a high-level of consumer engagement and meet sales goals while maintaining and elevating The Hershey Company brand reputation
- Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing to meet the needs of the business which includes adjusting schedules to ensure appropriate coverage within budget
- Responsible for crowd control and queuing at food and bakery locations
- React to guests concerns and questions quickly with a heavy focus on guest recovery and problem solving in the moment
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
- Candidates must possess (or be able to complete within 6 months) Pennsylvania RAMP server training and ServSafe Food Handler certification
- Must maintain a neat appearance and meet uniform standards

Experience:
- 2 years of supervisory experience in customer service and operations management preferably in retail, restaurants, hospitality or equivalent is required
- Bar service experience is strongly preferred but not required

Supervisor Production- West Hershey (2nd Shift)
The Hershey Company West Hershey plant is a Union plant producing products such as White & Dark Paste, Kisses, Nuggets, Milk Bars, Almond Bars, Rolo, Syrup & Cookies and Crème in a high-speed complex environment.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the financial planning, as well as directing and managing the activities of hourly production personnel while safely and effectively meeting the needs of their departments / areas in the plant. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for adhering to the employee handbook, and complying with regulatory requirements, company and plant policies, procedures, and rules in their area of responsibility. To be considered, you must also be flexible for all shifts, and weekend work.
In addition, the Production Supervisor will:
• With minimal direction and input from senior leadership, propose, plan, and execute projects to eliminate the root cause of manufacturing problems
• Independently execute projects of high complexity which have a large impact on the on the company’s current and/or future business interests. Projects may relate to any aspect of the business – people, procedures, policies, finances, equipment, processes and/or products
• Be responsible for the financial planning, as well as directing and managing the activities of hourly production personnel while safely and effectively meeting the needs of their department

- Order Management: Oversee the order fulfillment process from order receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders while addressing any issues that arise.
