The selected candidate will join the GTE F-15 USAF Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) and will be responsible for all proposal activities related to upgrades, retrofits, new-builds, and capability growth for pilot and maintenance training devices in the F-15 USAF training portfolio.The successful candidate will have skills and experience in leading the activities of proposal development. The successful candidate will also have the ability to leverage existing technologies, resolve cross-functional issues, and support projects from RFP to Baseline. Familiarity with leading proposal development with Training Systems engineering teams is highly preferred. This position involves frequent interaction with customer partners and suppliers and may require occasional travel to installation sites, suppliers, and other Boeing facilities.Position Responsibilities:The qualified candidate will be a part of the technical proposal team and will perform the following responsibilities:
- Lead the proposal development including the development and documentation of planned technical approach.

- Responsible for the documentation of the Engineering Basis of Estimate, Trade Studies, Request for Information (RFI) and Bill of Material (BOM’s) if required.

This comprehensive 5-year training program consists of 10,000 hours of paid on-the-job training and essential classroom education, designed to equip you with the skills needed to excel. The program begins with a 20% probationary period, allowing you to acclimate to the role while gaining valuable hands-on experience. You will attend school for at least 144 unpaid hours per school year (four hours each week), registered through a local Community and Technical College. Training encompasses a broad range of technologies including analog and digital circuits, electrical and electronic test equipment, computer systems, process control systems, robotics, computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment, motor controllers, AC circuits, and electrical safety.
