Senior Business Strategist

You will serve as a trusted, strategic advisor to the Innovation Banking leadership team, helping to manage, evolve, and grow the business. Key responsibilities will include formulating and executing strategy, structure, goals and governance to achieve sustainable revenue growth and returns. This will include ownership of strategic initiatives and risk and cost management, effective engagement with internal partners, clear and consistent communications, and oversight of all governance of business performance
As our Senior Business Strategist you will:
- Lead and monitor strategic initiatives for the business related to growth and risk management, and own any change programs within the business.
- Lead cross functional working teams to address process gaps impacting teams and / or clients; own delivery of improvements and assessment that change has been adapted.
- Manage the day-to-day operational requirements of team including but not limited to operating processes; financial cost control and planning; governance; strategy formulation and execution; functional construct / structure and resolving ad-hoc issues as they arise.
- Establish, track and own governance and reporting for the business including creation and tracking of core KPIs.
- Utilize data & analytics to drive strategic decision making for Division.
- Build executive presentations to support strategic agenda of Division; delivering new strategies and recommendations for change to senior stakeholders.
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $175,000.00 and $250,000.00

Requirements
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- 7 – 10 years’ experience in Business Management, Project Management or Strategy roles
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills
- Broad experience dealing with diverse range of stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Proven track record of supporting large, geographically dispersed, high-performing teams, and running large-scale, complex business initiatives.
- Strong analytical background and proven ability in analytical rigor, including ability to contextualize data into business activities and conclusions; and pro-actively identify emerging risks and issues.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budget, cost control and strategic initiatives.

Wealth Relationship Manager
The Wealth Relationship Manager (WRM) works closely with the Wealth Relationship Officer (WRO) and the service teams to build meaningful relationships with high value clients. Professionalism client focus, and understanding of the fundamentals of wealth planning will be key as the WRM acquires, develops, advises, and retains a portfolio of clients.
As the Wealth Relationship Manager, you will:
- Build deep, long-lasting and mutually valuable relationships in which you will provide financial solutions and opportunities to your portfolio of clients
- Maintain the highest standard of excellence in developing strategies to increase wallet share of existing clients and identifying product opportunities within the business through regularly collecting, updating and analyzing client financials
- Conduct full needs assessments with current and potential wealth customers and recommend appropriate banking, investment and insurance products and services to meet individual needs, based on objectives, risk tolerance and proper asset allocations
- Represent the company in community organizations and activities to enhance the Company’s image and maintain and grow a referral network for additional relationship opportunities while maintaining an active prospect pipeline
