The Compliance Officer will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in GIFT City as per IFSCA, NSE IX, Anti Money Laundering Act, IIDI rules, and related regulations. The role demands expertise in capital market intermediary regulations and involves establishing and implementing compliance policies and processes for INDmoney Global.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with IFSCA capital market regulations, exchange/NSE IX rules, depository participant act, and other relevant laws.
- Develop and maintain robust processes supporting INDmoney’s stock broking function in GIFT City.
- Regularly review and update policies to align with regulatory changes, conducting internal audits and assessments.
- Manage compliance risks, alerting senior management to significant issues and reporting on the effectiveness of compliance processes.
- Oversee the implementation of anti-money laundering frameworks, prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR), and ensure timely reporting to FIU-IND.
- Handle compliance with insider trading regulations and ensure timely submission of reports to regulators, depositories, and exchanges.
- Manage client complaints and internal audits, ensuring timely license renewals.
- Proactive with regulatory communication and drafting various representations for regulators/exchanges.
Qualifications:
- 6-7 years of experience in stockbroking compliance, securities laws, or capital markets.
- Educational background: Company Secretary, MBA, LLB, or CA.
- Strong understanding of stockbroking regulations, AML laws, and IFSCA regulations.
- Preferable: Prior experience with stock brokers’ compliance departments and NISM certifications.
