Overview:
Cargill is seeking applications from qualified and desirous candidates for the post of Trade Execution Specialist at their Gurgaon location. The Trade Execution Specialist, under direct supervision, will help to ensure the efficiency in Export-Import of commodities from all the major & minor seaports and across the world. This role requires the individual to coordinate Export- Import Documentation (Containers & Bulk) Shipping Lines, Customs & Other Govt bodies, operations processes, Food Safety standard, Customer service and quality management

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure end to end Trade Execution flow are executed flawlessly, involving contracts management, plan, execution and finalization the shipment.
- The operational lapses are minimized/ managed.
- Maintain and foster established relationships with small accounts, customers, clients, suppliers and other business partners.
- Improvement in the process for the business new trading flow (ie, TSF open sales flow, new destination local business activities, etc) structure to increase the productivity
- Collaborate with external authorities to verify and comply with all customs requirements.
- With oversight, actively works directly with traders to ensure smooth execution
- With frequent direction, communicates with agents on estimated time of arrival and any foreseen issues/concerns.
- May communicate with ocean transportation to make adjustments to the voyage of vessels
- With frequent direction, searches for opportunities to optimize planned costs and any other cost saving opportunities and analyze
unexpected costs to identify root causes and define action plan. - Prepare, review, approve and maintain files for import and export documents.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
- Minimum six years of experience in the field of Supply Chain, Shipping & Documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of import and export regulations in India
- Knowledge regarding vessel handling and discharge operations
- Experience in handling veg oil, grains and other Agri commodities
- Knowledge of UCP/LCs/GAFTA/FOSFA/INCOTERMS
- ICC/IRR/ISBP rules as an added advantage.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
