As a Project Engineer at Lam, you’re not merely managing projects – you’re driving advancements integral to the design and development of Lam’s products. What You’ll Do

Seeking a skilled Technical Writer/Project Coordinator with a proven track record in documenting complex engineering processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clear and concise language composition and a keen understanding of technical information and jargon.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles, processes, and methodologies.
  • Prior experience in technical documentation, particularly in writing design procedures, test procedures, design and drafting standards, and engineering and business process documents.
  • Ability to collaborate with subject-matter experts to collect inputs and requirements, synthesize, and develop documentation.
  • Proficiency in translating and composing complex technical content and jargon into simplified documents.
  • Extensive experience using styles in Microsoft Word, specifically with numeric and bulleted indexing.
  • Solid Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Formatting, Graphing), MS Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Some experience with QuickBase.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint (adding site content, editing views, checking permissions).
  • Basic PC setup skills (to be able to set up meeting rooms for design reviews).
  • Ability to work flexible hours when business needs dictate.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in resolving scheduling conflicts and accommodating last-minute changes with competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint document archival and workflow management.
  • Experience editing documents in a collaborative environment (SharePoint, OneDrive) and co-authoring.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $70,000.00 –  $155,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.

Business Operations Analyst

As part of the Business Operations team, you will help CSBG deliver predictable operational and financial results, ensure that business processes and accountability systems are effective and efficient in support of our business objectives. As the lead supporting the Service product line, you’ll have an opportunity to directly contribute to the success of one of CSBG fastest growing product line.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the operational and financial execution of the CSBG Service product line, ensuring its success and growth
  • Partner with Business Development, Regional Account Teams, and Global Operations teams to drive revenue and margin objectives for all Service business segments
  • In collaboration with CSBG Finance, drive all aspects of the financial planning process for the Service Product Line, including development of the forecast, validation of the business assumptions and presentation of the recommendations to the Service Product Line GM
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of all key accountability reviews as part of the Lam management system
  • Optimize major business processes to support the operational and financial objectives of the Service product line, identifying and addressing process gaps
  • Ensure business compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, including booking, backlog, and responses to customer audits when required
  • Represent the needs and interests of the CSBG Service Product Line within Lam
  • Collaborate effectively across the Lam organizational matrix to achieve the committed business objectives of the Service Product Line

Who We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Finance or related engineering fields
  • 5-8 years of experience in relevant roles in mid-large size companies
  • Strong business and analytical skills and effective understanding of financial and operational processes and systems.
  • Experienced in developing business processes and systems to track, manage, report financial and operational KPIs for a global organization
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, communicate effectively and build relationships across a complex matrixed organization
  • Capable of setting vision and influencing other stakeholder groups to architect and implement recommended changes

Front-End SW Engineer

As a Software Application Engineer at Lam, you’ll be at the forefront of driving innovation and adoption of our software products. You’ll support fast product evolution through agile processes by analyzing, designing, programming, testing, debugging, and enhancing software applications. With your expertise and initiative, you’ll turn ideas into great products that support advancements in Lam’s semiconductor technology.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Excellent knowledge in Object-Oriented software design and implementation.
  • Experience in Frontend Web UI development using Angular.
  • Experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse technologies and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical leadership experience.
  • Experience with software development tools, such as IDE, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins.
  • Experience in creating prototypes and wireframes in Adobe XD.

Expeditor

At Lam, as an Expeditor, you play an integral role in meeting production schedules. You’ll coordinate, route, and expedite materials to address shortages. Your expertise extends to proper routing of incoming materials and monitoring the flow of materials between departments to meet scheduled commitments. Your contribution ensures smooth material handling, supporting Lam’s commitment to operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • The Expeditor role supports the RPM Buyers by managing and monitoring material deliveries in and out of the Lam warehouse and assists with resolving material shortages.
  • Performs a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules.
  • Expedites parts to remedy shortage problems.
  • Picks up and delivers materials within and outside company and maintains records on material flow.
  • May ensure incoming materials are properly routed.
  • May monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments to meet scheduled commitments.
  • Performs a variety of coordinating, routing, and inventory management duties to meet manufacturing schedules.
  • Resolve discrepant materials issues and expedites inventory movement to remedy potential shortage problems.
  • Establish confirmed delivery commitments for material which includes direct contact with suppliers.
  • Tracks hot incoming materials through to receipt in SAP system.
  • Monitors the flow of materials and parts between departments and warehouses to meet scheduled commitments through various other system tools.
  • Process and maintain material reworks and Variance material for RPM Purchasing, including but not limited to, contacting supplier for RMA number, creating rework PO in SAP, ensuring shipment of material to supplier, creating, and ensuring completion of Manual 4100 Purchase Orders.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years of related experience.
  • Self-motivated, high energy, strong work ethic, adaptive, able to meet tight deadlines with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate cross-functionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as part of a team.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing/high tech/semiconductor environment.
  • Knowledge in ERP, preferably with SAP.
  • Basic understanding of Supply Chain process and tools
