Whether you are a recent graduate, an experienced developer, or a career changer looking to enter the technology sector, the latest IT jobs offer competitive salaries, flexible work options, outstanding employee benefits, and excellent long-term career prospects.
IT careers span a wide range of specializations, allowing professionals to choose a path that matches their interests and expertise. Companies regularly hire Software Engineers, Full-Stack Developers, Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, Mobile App Developers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Network Engineers, System Administrators, Cloud Engineers, Cybersecurity Analysts, DevOps Engineers, AI Engineers, Machine Learning Specialists, Database Administrators, IT Support Technicians, Business Analysts, QA Testers, and Technical Consultants. These opportunities are available in startups, multinational corporations, government organizations, financial institutions, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and technology companies.
Software development remains one of the most in-demand fields in the IT industry. Developers create websites, mobile applications, enterprise software, cloud platforms, and digital solutions that power modern businesses. Employers actively seek professionals with expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, PHP, Go, and Kotlin, along with frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, and .NET. As software continues to shape every industry, skilled developers enjoy excellent career opportunities and attractive compensation packages.
Data science has become an essential part of business decision-making. Organizations rely on Data Scientists and Data Analysts to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large volumes of information to improve performance and identify business opportunities. Professionals skilled in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, machine learning, and statistical analysis remain highly sought after across finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and technology industries.
Networking professionals play a vital role in building and maintaining secure communication systems. Cybersecurity Analysts, Security Engineers, Penetration Testers, Ethical Hackers, and Information Security Specialists help identify vulnerabilities, monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. As cyber threats continue to evolve, qualified cybersecurity professionals remain in exceptionally high demand.
The qualifications required for IT jobs vary depending on the position. Many employers prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related fields. However, practical skills, coding portfolios, internships, open-source contributions, and professional certifications often carry equal importance. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Google Cloud Professional, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator can strengthen your resume and improve employment opportunities.
Technology professionals enjoy numerous workplace benefits beyond competitive salaries. Many employers offer remote work, hybrid schedules, flexible working hours, health insurance, retirement plans, paid annual leave, performance bonuses, stock options, certification reimbursement, and continuous learning programs. These benefits make IT one of the most attractive industries for professionals seeking career growth and work-life balance.

About Abound
We’re redefining consumer lending in the UK, and beyond. Using advanced AI and Open Banking data, we make fair, affordable personal finance available to more people. While traditional lenders rely almost entirely on credit scores, we look at the full financial picture – how much you spend, and what you can afford to repay to build a deeper, more accurate understanding of each customer’s unique financial situation.
And we’ve shown it works at scale. We’ve issued over £1.3bn in loans directly to customers while delivering market-leading credit performance – for every 10 defaults the industry expects, we see only 3. We also reached profitability just 2.5 years after launch.
Backed by £2bn+ of funding from top-tier investors including Citi, GSR Ventures, and Deutsche Bank, we’re recognised as one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs (Sifted, CNBC). Now, we’re expanding into new markets and product lines – and we’re looking for ambitious people who want to learn fast, take ownership, and grow with us.
About the Role
We are looking for a capable and ambitious IT Support Analyst to join our growing technology team in a Microsoft cloud-first environment.
This is a junior-to-mid level role suited to someone who has a strong interest in IT support foundations and wants to develop deeper skills in modern workplace technologies, endpoint management, identity administration, and Microsoft 365.

You may already have hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, macOS support, JAMF, UniFi, or Teams Rooms, or you may have supported some of these technologies and want to grow into broader ownership over time.
You will work closely with the IT Manager and gain exposure to a modern stack including Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Logitech meeting room technology, and UniFi networking. The role will involve day-to-day support, but also structured involvement in device management, access controls, compliance, documentation, and IT improvement projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants to move beyond basic helpdesk support and develop into a strong modern workplace, endpoint, or IT operations specialist.
What you’ll be doing:

- Assist in maintaining device compliance policies, configuration profiles, update rings, and application deployments.
- Support Windows Autopilot provisioning and endpoint lifecycle processes.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID including user lifecycle management, group management, and RBAC.
- Support the configuration and ongoing maintenance of Conditional Access policies and MFA controls.
- Assist with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) role assignments and access reviews.
- Troubleshoot Exchange Online mail flow, Microsoft Teams, and Teams Rooms issues.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting across Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android devices in both corporate-managed and BYOD models.
- Maintain accurate asset records, user records, and system documentation.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in device management and access controls.
Who you are:
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Intune in a production environment (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
- Good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID including user management, groups, RBAC, and Conditional Access.
- Solid understanding of device compliance and MDM principles in a BYOD environment.
- Strong Windows 11 troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of macOS.
- Experience supporting iOS and Android device enrolment and policy enforcement.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DNS, VPN, firewall concepts).
- Experience implementing MFA and access control policies.
- Ability to troubleshoot identity, device, and Microsoft 365-related issues independently.
- Strong communication skills and a structured, methodical approach to support.
- PowerShell scripting for automation or reporting.
- Experience in a fintech or regulated environment.
- Experience with UniFi networking stack.
- Familiarity with macOS.
- College/University qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not essential).
- Relevant certifications desirable (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals, MD-100, AZ-900).
What we offer
- Everyone owns a piece of the company – equity
- Hybrid with 3 days a week in the office
- 25 days’ holiday a year, plus 8 bank holidays
- 2 paid volunteering days per year
- One month paid sabbatical after 4 years
- Employee loan
