This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for a junior PR professional who has already contributed to securing real media coverage and wants to continue building experience at a growing tech company.

What You’ll Do

  • Build Lists: Research and build targeted media lists across business, tech, and startup publications (including outlets such as Forbes, Business Insider, TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and others).
  • Execute Media Outreach: Support outbound pitching using provided angles, messaging, and guidance from leadership.
  • Pitch & Follow Up: Send pitches, manage follow-ups, and respond to media inquiries in coordination with the team.
  • Press Materials: Assist in drafting and updating pitches, templates, and media materials based on approved messaging.
  • Coverage Support: Help coordinate press around product launches, partnerships, and company announcements.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Maintain outreach trackers, media lists, and basic reporting on responses and placements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Junior-level experience in PR or media relations with demonstrated results.
  • Exposure to top-tier business, tech, or startup publications, either independently, through an agency, or as part of a team.
  • Strong writing skills and comfort communicating with journalists and editors.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable executing tasks with feedback and direction.
  • Experience supporting PR for tech or startup companies is required.

Bonus Points

  • Experience supporting PR campaigns at an agency or startup.
